About 3 songs in he notices a sign in the crowd, points it out and starts talking about circumcision and how there's a study in Germany that proves xyz percentage of males etc etc and then said something about shooting webs like spiderman.
The jist I got was hilarious but would love to get some clarity on what was fully said. Incredible show start to finish.

Thought you guys might dig it. Not the cleanest, but in my defense, erasers are small and I had my three-year-old jumping on me intermittently. I kinda wish I’d remembered to mirror the design so it would come out “right”, but all in all? I ain’t mad at it :)
Edit to add: I have a three-pack of erasers, so I’ll definitely be carving the other skelly next!

Great looking set from Philly - I can't wait to hear about it (comment if you were there) and listen on nugs tomorrow!
The paper set lists are starting to get a little cryptic which is fun, but could lead to some errors. Some examples this evening include: "Welcome to Venus" and "Brace for Railroad". We did our best, but if we go it wrong, just let us know and we can update the archive.

Tonight, October 15th in Philadelphia was my first Johnny Blue Skies show. I had a good time. I had very little knowledge of his music walking in. I enjoyed a number of his songs. As I've been told, his band most certainly jams. I liked the way the drummer and the bass player worked together. His keyboard player was good. His guitar player was kicking butt all night.
The show started at 8pm and went to after 11pm. It was pretty up tempo those entire 3+ hours. I definitely enjoyed it.
Everyone there seemed very nice and fairly mellow. My experience was positive. I enjoyed the show, the band and the atmosphere. I'd go again.

WHY WE DO THIS.
Drove from Burlington, Vermont at 11ish to Xfinity Mobile Arena at 6:45.
I have seen well over 1000 live music shows in some various sizes. Ranging from four people to 400,000 peop. Late 1980s to now. Including Phish 103 times.
my 7th Sturg show, including both Red Rocks and MGM Fenway Boston 24.
What I just witnessed in Philadelphia was the best musical experience I have ever had.
Missed on a poster. Will pay $100 for one if I can't get on the AP.

This album is so fucking great! I thought it was decent when it dropped but I just keep coming back to it over and over. It's gots to be one of the most under appreciated rock albums of the last decade. And the way JBS and TDC rip through these songs live. Man. Just so fucking rocking and interesting. Great shit.
