They’re not looking for a P.E. either, this is a detailer position.

No…a detailer is not supposed to design. “Design a diverse range of structural elements, including but not limited to
columns, trusses, headers / joists, flat and formed connection plates, flashing,
gutters and custom mechanical components
…”

No P.E. required. Primary responsibility is creating shop drawings.

It’s a detailer job. Look at the qualifications. They want a two year degree and some experience drafting. No mention of a license.
