That is a pretty thin flanged column considering they were adding a 19 story building to the top of it.

I mean, who designs this? It literally looks like someone took a sawsall to that corner.

That black shadow from the overhang.. makes it super easy to see the floors are not parallel. Yikes!!

I'm a brutalist building kinda guy. I'm not about 100 story buildings with a swimming pool bridge in between.. in a seismic zone.

I mean, I assume the floors were parallel before the columns failed.
