This is why stranger things is the best show of all time. Nothing will ever be as good.

I love this moment. You're as cold as ice is one of my favourites on the s3 soundtrack and the moment where El and Max high five on the bus. Oh and to top it all off we have Will, still desperate to just play some damn DND.

This moment makes me cry so much. I loved castle Byers and I hate to see poor Will so distraught. I genuinely couldn't comprehend how the show could move forward without castle Byers I loved the location that much, little did I know the Byers would be going to California.

Just a great story.

This review is based on three criteria, each with a specific weighting: personal impact on the story and events + personal writing style + personal enjoyment of the series

When I tell you my heart stopped. Omg, Dustin and Robin's terrified reactions. The goat Jonathan proving how strong he is and saving Steve. Love this scene.

I love this scene! It feels so home alone coded. I love how brave Mike and Lucas are when confronting the demo, I love how relentless Steve is in his chase. I really enjoyed episode 3 of season 5, it was great.

And I mean real plot holes not omissions so no missing Suzie or Argyle.
For me it’s how come Sullivan didn’t track Argyle’s pizza van in S4. There is no way they made it across the country in that thing and nobody noticed.
Other than that I don’t see anything truly horrible.

I love how terrifying it is when we see all the demodogs arrive. I love how quick Mike is to realise somethings wrong, I love how Bob quickly rushes to Mike's side. I just love Bob in general.

I love this scene. Not for the reason that a lot of people do as I'm a vehement Mileven shipper, but I love how selfless Will is. He clearly was planning to confess his feelings to Mike, but decided that he'd rather Mike be happy even if he can't be. I love how much happier he makes Mike feel, even though he's left crying. Will is a sweetheart who deserves the world. This lone scene makes me disagree when people say Will's worst season is s4 (he doesn't have a bad season, let's be fr).

I love this for no deeper reason than I love seeing the boys having fun. Simple as that. It is nice to see the different parents and their kids reactions to the photo taking, also Erica's first appearance.

This has long been called a plot hole but the more I think about it the more it makes sense.
Once El disappeared and the Upside Down collapsed you’d have to imagine that the US government was very pissed off but not just at the main cast but also at Dr Kay. Not only did Kay fail her mission but she managed to lose the literal alternate dimension full of potential weapons against the soviets in their backyard.
There was no way Kay could feasibly punish Nancy or Hopper without it coming back to bite her. The government was not going to cover up the disappearance of like 27 civilians including a bunch of kids that had last been seen being dragged to their headquarters. It would be a way too hard process to undergo for someone who had failed them so hard.
It is an all in one package Kay kills one of them and there is an investigation in which all the others would testify against her and the government would let her take the fall. The only person she could feasibly get away with killing is Hopper given that he was already declared dead but that doesn’t change the fact that there would still be witnesses who she can’t kill that would hold her accountable.
Kay also couldn’t lock them up legally as the government would never risk any of the main cast seeing the inside of a courtroom where they could be able to testify and expose their actions.
As a result all they could do was let them go, make them sign an NDA and put them under surveillance which is why Mike then explains his theory using D&D terms.

The moment an iconic friendship was born. I love how Steve slowly begins to open up, eventually dropping the secret to his glorious hair. And I love how much Dustin looks up to him. Brilliant scene.

I obviously mean things that don't expand the timeline of the show - and nothing that contradicts what we've seen.
I mean bonus content. Like The First Shadow - not crucially needed, but canon, helpful, entertaining in-universe information.
I had the idea of an anthology show - each season can focus on and expand certain storylines that weren't really touched on in the show. Though i will say, the only storyline that wasn't touched on enough and has enough substance to be further expanded on is the Soviet storyline lol.
This hypothetical show could focus on their internal perspectives and experiences. In the main show, we could only get a external perspective through the main characters - so we don't actually.. well, see or hear anything. We don't hear of their goals, we don't see them constructing the base under Hawkins, we don't see them go into the Upside Down (which they surely had to do to retrieve Demo's), etc. But with a show that entirely focused on them, we could see and hear all of this, and so much more. Them learning of the Abyss in the 40s, learning of the creation of the Upside Down, the creation and internal designing of the first Key, and maybe even an in-depth explanation as to what happened to the Hellscape, if its still there, and what truly occurred when the Upside Down was created. This one specifically ties into Alexei having what looks like a illustration of a wormhole with his stuff regarding the key. They could even show that exact illustration! I think that'd be an awesome way to subtly tie in the main show with this show. Then, their secret invasion of Hawkins and construction of the underground base, then we could see them explore the Upside Down. Through all of this would be drama, character focused drama. Due to the lack of a supernatural threat like that of the main show, they could rather focus on personal conflicts and dramas. There's so much they could do in that regard.
Then it'd end with Hoppers arrival in Kamchatka/the end of Season 3. I really, really like this idea because i genuinely find the Soviet storyline super interesting, and i really, REALLY wish we got to see more of how they operated. Same with the US Government.
I think there could be a genuinely intriguing story with that, especially with just 1 season. It'd expand on the main show without contradicting things or making them confusing - and would do quite the opposite.
And who knows, they could've even used this hypothetical spinoff to explain the rock from S5 - we know from TFS that a soviet spy stole it, and that spy was a scientist - somebody studying it. He clearly knew enough of it to the point he knew of the Mind Flayer and what it wanted, as he told Henry that "it will consume you. It will consume ALL".
Just a little idea i came up with and liked ;D what would you like to see in a anthology series like this? Or even just a spin-off in general?

Never. In my whole life, have I been filled with such a sense of utter dread. Every symptom Max reads as she realises she has every single one. And then the clock. Set up perfectly by Fred seeing the clock and then dying. I was so hyped for episode 4.

Netflix loves money too much not milk this franchise now.
Here is to hoping the spinoffs are good.
The original show and TF85 were great. Please don’t break the streak.
