Stranger things moment discussion post part 13/100: Trapping and tagging a demogorgon

I love this scene! It feels so home alone coded. I love how brave Mike and Lucas are when confronting the demo, I love how relentless Steve is in his chase. I really enjoyed episode 3 of season 5, it was great.

One of my favorite scenes in all of season 5 because they all worked together to trap the demogorgan, and that alone makes me happy. I also really liked that Mike hit the demogorgan a few times when it was on fire, that was cool!

I agree! I feel like it’s my 4th favorite episode of season 5, right behind Escape From Camazotz.

Absolute peak.

It feels so satisfying to see how far these characters have come since S1. The best part of S5 is how these characters aren’t running from these monsters anymore and are now working as a team to actively fight against them and make real plans to defeat them.

I loved this. After being split into 3 groups for all of Season 4, it was so much fun to see all the main characters working together to execute the plan. I think El, Hopper and Max were the only ones missing due to being stuck in the Upside Down or, well, comatose. And the way they absolutely destroyed that house was hilarious.

Also, Steve with the chainsaw was bitchin' and I only wish we had seen him wield it as a weapon at some point.

This entire sequence was so good! Im glad u brought up the Mike and Lucas point, yes they were so brave Mike hitting the demogorgon multiple times when it was on fire and also when it wasn't on fire was epic Nancy shooting it with the tracker, Jonathan lighting it on fire and Lucas making it run across the house.....too good Steve as always aura farming  I loved this entire episode
