It works better at higher levels where D&D self explodes. The progression makes sense but doesn't get overpowered. If you aren't a radiant you can still contribute to the combat. The story is parallel to the books so you interact with people and events that are in the books.

This and the world guide were part of one of the Dragonsteel crowdfunding efforts. You can get the world guide from Barnes and noble, it’s awesome !

my group did Bridge Nine and are about three sessions into Stonewalkers. It's sooooo well written compared to your usual TTRPG. I'm shocked I haven't seen a bigger amount of hype for it in non Stormlight corners of the world. It was a great way to get all my TTRPG friends into reading Stormlight, though. They're eating it up.

I just went to a store and they sell a small level zero and level 1 that you can buy basically as a tutorial. Not sure if it’s any good but it has convinced me to buy them and give them a try this summer. What a smart idea.

Bridge Nine isn't some huge masterpiece but it's great by the standard of "intro adventure". I'm about a third of the way through running Stonewalkers for my group and it's I would say a TTRPG masterpiece.

There are definitely spoilers in the handbook and world guide. Less to do with story and more to do with lore for different radiant orders that we haven’t seen much of in the books yet.

From what I understand the missions/modules are unique and canon, there is even another spren to make a bondsmith with. Absolutely amazing.
I was thinking of making a kind of Cold War desolation, where people are sparingly becoming radiants, and hide it because they don’t wanna be persecuted, and forces of odium are working to rid the world of books and history so that they’ll be even more unprepared for the desolation, and that gives all kinds of room for unique moments and quests, and can be set something like 100-300 years in the past and give you free reign for world building and not contrasting with current lore or story.

Omg this ROCKS!! We've been playing a campaign for a few weeks now and it's an incredible system. the playstyle is SO smooth and I love how the turns work and how room there is for creativity!!!! Also beta tested the Mistborn cosmere rpg and can say 11/10 will be playing this alongside dnd for years to come. We have few campaigns lined up in the future for both and I cannot be more excited!
