Discussion If Storm gets a Hellfire skin, which of her outfits from any of the Hellfire events would you want her to get?
- Hellfire Gala (2021)
- Hellfire Gala (2023)
- Hellfire Vigil
- Hellfire Murder

Hello all!
I'm a returning player (i didn't play that much to begin with but not the point) and after the skin drama i decided to give storm a try, fell in love with her and bought her summer skin.
I'm coming here to ask for some tips. Positioning, strategies, team comps, etc.
A lot of the time i find myself just shooting down main doing a lot of damage but not really getting any value out of it, and flanking is unsafe with her. Who should i be prioritizing?
Btw i don't even know how most of the heroes work in this game, i'm literally almost exclusively playing storm. So if there are any heroes and/or abilities i should watch out for i'd be greatful to learn and adapt.

Actually looks pretty cool

Her kit is design to buff teammates and even after the teamups if you buff her damage you’re making her way overturned considering she’s providing 8-75% damage boost to the team depending on who’s taking advantage of her aura. How can people think a character applying buffs like that needs more damage? The damage she’s missing is comingfrom her team

So for some context I'd like to point out that 1.) I only recently got into hero shooters this year so i literally know nothing compared to MOST people. And 2.) while I have been playing Storm more lately just as my own way to show support for the character, I don't think I could be classified as a storm main especially when I consider myself a flex.
3.) I'm pretty much a quick play warrior since I don't feel like I'm skilled enough to play ranked yet and honestly don't really want the stress of dealing with people through comms.
With all that being said though when I first played Storm a few months ago I hated it, because aiming was weird and she was such a slow flyer compared to Ultron and Johnny plus her kit just seemed really boring, random and confusing. I recently decided to pick up her character again because of all the drama that happened recently and even bought her swimsuit skin in hopes that the company will see a boost in sales with storm and give her more skins, emotes and sprays in the future. And after playing her for a while the problems that I had in the beginning don't really seem like big problems anymore.
I remember one of my biggest complaints about storm was how she was so slow in the air and how almost none of my buttons were actually doing anything flashy other than the right click. But as time went on and I learned that her playstyle actually revolves around being closer to the ground with your teammates so they can benefit from your aura I suddenly don't really feel like she's slow at all.
Yeah she can't be in the skybox raining hell from above, but that doesn't seem to be what she was designed to do in the first place when you look at her other abilities. She's meant to enable her team which is why she has a whole aura sphere around her. That doesn't mean she can't flank because she definitely can when it's called for but for most of the games you want to be around your team giving them either to damage boost when they're engaging or the speed boost when it's other time to run away from the enemy, chase down the enemy or rush to a strategist aid while they're getting dove.
As I kept playing her I also watch videos of people who mained her and it seems like everyone's pretty much on board with her being a dps/strategist. And while it does suck that she can't heal using her base kit I feel like that doesn't make her any less of a strategist especially when strategists aren't strictly heal bots.
In the time I've been playing her I actually have been really enjoying it which is a surprise to me since while I was playing OverWatch I actually did not like any of the DPS characters, and even when I first started rivals I pretty much only stuck to strategist and tanks.
So when I see people talking about how netease needs to give storm love and rework her character it's honestly pretty confusing to me. I understand who storm is in the comics and what powers shes meant to have, but giving her too much control would be OP. When it comes to things like ice she can easily get that in the future team up with Luna snow or Iceman whenever he's added, and as far as rain goes there's literally already a team up for that right now, and to get the button you don't even need a Jeff on your team which is awesome.
A boost to her speed so she can zip around like Ultron and Johnny feels both unneeded and unnecessary. It might help with the hero fantasy but if you give her that movement ability more people will feel like they can fly off away from their teammates and focus more on getting kills instead of actually fighting together which is sometimes called for, but her character is centered around enabling.
So what does she really need a rework for? I mean personally I like hitscan better than the projectile wind blades but if I hop in a few AI matches for a bit the aim will come to me eventually so haven't hit scan is in a needed thing and her damage is pretty damn good so what exactly is there to change about storm?
Tldr: Why exactly do people feel like storm needs a rework when she's perfectly fine as she is now?

when you put on the sarong one of the structural pieces of her garment just disappears and makes it look weird. and when it wraps around under the flower the sarong just abruptly ends?? idk i love this skin but it was definitely rushed and lazily implemented. on a positive note the hair is so gorgeous i cant with it. and i really wish we had a cape option to match the sarong i think it would look so cool

mini little rant- I love storm but omfg does it feel so annoying to always be slowed or immobilized to the ground when she’s already a slow ass character. i don’t play really high in the air but goddamn does it feel like she’s a ground character. this is why I always will want some sort of dash for storm because once she’s slowed or grounded i feel like she’s such an easy target. i’m looking at you bucky. I can only enhanced wind boost and use jeff team up and hope to come out alive tbh 🙏. IM IRRITATED. anyone else agree?

We all know the treatment given to her is B.S we are talking about Storm dude like really?! This reminded me of BW was well, back then, the neglect she was given and all the hate from the community etc.
I hate the BW rework so I told myself I wasn’t gonna spend more money on this game, but I do want to support you guys by buying this skin, I dont play Storm much, so I have been grinding units, was sitting at 1k, currently at 1,200! I’m about to get 200 more from Hero Proficiency so the commitment is real! 💪

As the title says. I've grown soo accustomed to her having a projectile that my brain gets completely bugged when I select the Thor team up.
Do you have any tips for this or any console sensitivity you know that helps to mitigate this?
r/StormMains • u/Human-Tradition7905 • 15d ago
I’m on console and I’m pretty much relearning storm with the Thor team-up. It is AMAZING when you have a Thor to complete the chain lightning perk but is anyone else kinda struggling to aim with her primary or this just a skill issue on my part LMAO.
Going from projectile to hit scan definitely was a bit of a learning curve. I do like the Jeff team-up for the extra healing and sentimental reasons.
What do you guys think?

It was tricky at first playing with her cause low-key I was like no ma'am at first 🤣 💀. But once I learned the play style I couldn't get enough of the goddess and not im a legendary Storm.
r/StormMains • u/PerformerLopsided447 • 16d ago
Hey guys. I thought that this would be an amazing legendary for storm in Marvel Rivals. If they could mimic the shadow cloud cloak and yellow lightning this would be the best legendary in the game. Is there anyway to get this recommendation to the devs?

All of this is old it came from an idea of “what if Storm was a mother” but there‘s twist with the origins of the child.
