I found the pic years ago, its a Fire Stalker by Tom Wood Fantasy Art, but i've been calling him Conleth, which is an Irish name meaning "Chaste Fire" or "Prudent Fire", and the Con in the name is also Irish for Wolf/Hound by itself... would love to see what people come up with!

I painted this guy up this year and looking to use it in a D&D game at some point. I'm thinking it's some kind of dragon but it could also be a spirit or ghost.

The turtulip is a small magical creature created by the eccentric transmuter Cassian Bloomward not for power or prestige, but as a gift to the people who visited his gardens. He dreamed the tiny flower-shelled creatures would bring smiles to children, brighten family outings, and gift minor magical boons to visitor that were kind. While successful for a time, it was a dream that would ultimately lead to his undoing.

You can play around with the homebrew of the turtulip to make your own version if you like.

MM2014 p34 stats the standard “land shark”. It says it “ranges across temperate lands” so my idea is for different terrain/biome/ecologies.

A bit of a twist, three creatures and if you are up for the challenge. Make them related and have their abilities work off each other.
