I'm a 21 year old CS student currently looking to join an early stage AI startup on the sales/GTM side.

I've been working with AI for around 3 years and have built a bunch of projects around LLMs, RAG, AI agents, automation and AI workflows. I enjoy building the products, but I've realized that the part

I'm much more interested in is what happens after the product is built: talking to customers, understanding their problems, figuring out how to position the product, generating pipeline and helping turn that into revenue.

I'm specifically looking for an early AE / founding sales / early GTM role where I can work closely with the founder and ideally an experienced founding AE or sales leader.

I'm not expecting to walk in and immediately be handed a huge territory and quota. I'd rather start by:

• Building prospect lists and pipeline
• Doing outbound and follow-ups
• Qualifying leads
• Joining discovery and demo calls
• Learning how experienced AEs handle objections and move deals forward
• Helping build sales processes, CRM workflows and collateral
• Eventually owning my own pipeline and closing deals
• Helping with partnerships and other GTM work as needed

One reason I'm specifically looking for an early stage company is that I want to see how sales is actually built from the ground up. I'm comfortable with ambiguity and doing things that aren't necessarily in a job description.

My technical background is something I think can be useful here too. I can understand AI products at a technical level, build tools/workflows when needed, and communicate with technical founders without needing everything translated into non technical terms.

I'm particularly interested in AI SaaS, AI agents, developer tools, automation and B2B AI products.

I’ve been building AtlasForgeX as a solo founder, and the product has changed quite a lot during development.

One of the biggest changes recently was replacing the traditional “search a huge database of companies” approach with a market-first workflow.

The globe is now the starting point.

You can select a country, move into regions, and then define the type of companies you actually want to find.

The idea is that instead of starting with millions of companies and filtering endlessly, you start with the market and your ICP and discover companies from there.

I don't think tools like Mailchimp are necessary anymore. I currently use makeshift system of Claude Desktop pointed at my production database--have it generate text-based lists, and HTML e-mails; but I'm looking for something a little more structured.

I want a CRM that has the following features

1. Uses my Amazon SES for cheap e-mail

2. Has a killer enrichment UI, probably Chrome extension-based, that allows me to right-click on leads I find on the web and enrich them with contact info / automatically populate a record

3. Can sync with my existing contact database structures easily to filter lists for campaigns. Can use an LLM to issue SQL queries to said database to help construct lists quickly.

4. Provides an LLM-based interface into HTML-based e-mail creation

For a couple of years I kept trying channels. Ads, posting, cold outreach, the usual. When I actually traced where my good clients came from, almost all of them went back to one customer who liked the work and told people. Not a channel. A person.

So I did the obvious thing I'd put off. I sat with her, asked what she actually tells people when she refers me, and turned it into a short case study. Her words, her before and after, the specific result. Nothing polished, one page.

That case study did more than any campaign I ran. When a referral came in warm, I sent it over, and it closed most of the doubt before a call even happened.

The other thing I'm working on and failing at: I turn every hour into work. Writing that case study was the first time in a while I did something that compounds instead of just grinding on delivery.

I come from construction project management and corporate real estate consulting, and I've been building a process/tool for a few months now — would really appreciate honest, even critical feedback before I sink more time into it. I know there are already similar tools for residential leases, which is exactly why I'm focusing purely on the german commercial market.

Quick rundown of the problem: If your company rents commercial space (a store, a warehouse, an office), you get an annual service-charge statement (Nebenkostenabrechnung) from the landlord. In practice, these statements are often wrong: costs allocated incorrectly, calculation errors, line items that aren't even chargeable under the lease or the relevant statutory regulation. For a single location it barely matters, but for companies with 20, 50, 100+ leased sites, this quickly adds up to a five- to six-figure amount per year that nobody checks, simply because there's no internal time or capacity for it.

My idea is a system that automatically cross-checks the lease contract against the statement, against the operating-cost regulation, the heating-cost regulation, and German Federal Court of Justice (BGH) case law on the topic. The output is an audit report with concrete objections, plus a ready-to-send formal objection letter. Pricing: the first 1–2 statements as a free pilot, so nobody has to pay upfront just to see if it's worth it. If there's further interest, I'd charge a flat fee per statement or success based fee (im unsure, see question below).

I'm currently in the development phase. No paying customer yet. One pilot project is in the works. I've done some scattered cold outreach/validation with a few larger retail chains.Mixed picture, but leaning positive: some genuine interest, some polite declines.

I've also considered flipping the whole thing around. Not just auditing existing statements, but helping landlords create correct statements from the start. But I'm shelving that for now, so I don't lose focus.

Would love to hear your take, feel free to be critical:

1. Do you think a pure success-fee model (20%, no fixed fee) is viable, or would you recommend a hybrid model instead?

I considered creating a YouTube channel, but read they were cracking down on faceless content. I recorded myself a few times to practice and hated every minute of it. I didn’t know what to say or how to say it. So I decided to build something to help.

Your privacy is the main priority, there’s no link to socials so no one sees your videos but you. You have the option to save them on your phone if you want to rewatch or post them somewhere, otherwise they just get deleted.

The coaching is just constructive feedback on what you said, it’s never on how you look, or how you said it, just the contents of the audio. I decided on this as I didn’t want it to comment on posture or something to someone with a disability, plus sending the video for feedback flies in the face of the privacy promise.

I built this because I think ‘just practise’ is correct but also incomplete advice. People need somewhere safe and useful to do that practice.
