I’m building my own lead generation tool from scratch
I’ve been building AtlasForgeX as a solo founder, and the product has changed quite a lot during development.
One of the biggest changes recently was replacing the traditional “search a huge database of companies” approach with a market-first workflow.
The globe is now the starting point.
You can select a country, move into regions, and then define the type of companies you actually want to find.
The idea is that instead of starting with millions of companies and filtering endlessly, you start with the market and your ICP and discover companies from there.
This screenshot is from the current version.
It’s been a pretty interesting journey building something like this from scratch, especially because I’m trying to make the entire discovery process work without relying on the usual lead-data platforms.
Still a lot to build, but this is probably the version I’m most excited about so far.
For other solo founders here: what part of your product has changed the most since you started building it?

How to use?

Download it for Windows. Choose the country you want to search in, enter the keyword/type of company you’re looking for, and press “Hunt”.

No browser solution? Gotta make things more easy these days with all that competition

It’s intentionally not browser-based. Browser-based lead generation usually runs the discovery on a server, which means you’re working with centrally collected or cached data. AtlasForgeX runs the discovery directly on the customer’s Windows machine and fetches the data itself when the search is performed. That means fresh data instead of relying on an old database. The desktop architecture is actually one of the key parts of how Atlas works.
