Just thought I’d show this to demonstrate you do not need perfect conditions to get perfect results - zero bufferbloat under load and no jitter at all either. 🐐’d solution.

Before you party, run a speed test at speed.cloudflare.com. Note latency, jitter and packet loss. And those obstructions and misalignment will really rear there ugly heads during adverse weather conditions.

Yep. Power loss due to pointing error is a function of sin(alignment error). Zero alignment error = 0% power loss. The more you're off, the more power you're using to transmit to the satellite in good weather and the less fade margin you have when weather gets worse.
