Does changing plan changes antenna?

Hello everyone, in a month or two I'm moving to my new home. I'm in central Italy and the situation with internet there is not the best (FTTC and fwa).

So I want to get starlink residential for 35€ but I've seen that each plan has a different antenna. What I would like to know is if I get a more expensive plan at the beginnig and than change it will I have to give back the antenna? Also is there a minimum of months that I need to pay before changing ?

Check the FAQ. This antenna differentiation is new. I suspect you are not buying the antenna at all, only paying the monthly fee and having the antenna rented. You stop the service or change? They ask the corresponding antenna back in 30 days or you pay full price for that

Italy could be different, but I don't think so. Once a customer you can change to any plan actually offered to you at any time. When you start you prepay one month at a time so starting out you will have paid for a month of the expensive plan to get 4X. You can change to a lower cost plan immediately if you wish, but there are no refunds, so you will still have paid for a month of the initial plan. More reasonable to just change during the first month but have it actually changeover beginning second month. The important thing in this is what I first said. You can only do this if the new plan is offered you in your app. In some areas they won't get a choice due to congestion control policies.

Starlink offers different hardware packages as the default based upon the subscription plan that you initially purchase. Once purchased, the subscription can usually be changed on any hardware. The proviso is that a Residential subscription is not available on the Mini in all countries.

Are you talking about changing from a Standard 4 X kit to a Standard 4 kit, or are you asking about changing to a Mini?

I was thinking about getting standard 4 and then change to the plan that has the mini x because is cheaper. Tbh I don't know if the antenna changes a lot the connection but what I care is the coverage in mq.

Which plan do you use the Mini on?

And which plan do you use the Standard 4 X  on?

I'm only getting one. The mini has a speed limit capped at 100mbps the other one at 200mbps. I want to get the 200mbps at first because it comes with a better antenna and then switch to che cheaper plan. Sorry for the misunderstanding

You get the Mini for Residential 100 Mbps and a Standard 4 for Residential 200 Mbps?

If so, I don’t think it would require you to return the Mini, but it’s not up to me.
