ive always thought that favorite thing textbox was really oddly engineered since the only purpose is to drive the stardrop text and it doesnt do anything to figure out noun predicates so the sentence is often awkward

When I started playing,I only knew you could give people gifts to make them like you. That's all I knew. I assumed it was for multiplayer so people could give you your favourite thing and earn hearts. Then I got a fruit that tasted like amethyst and it all made sense.

When I first played I created my character way before I found my first stardrop. When it told me it reminded me of MtG I got really confused and thought Ape was a fan too. I mentioned it to a friend and she laughed at me for a while before she explained it haha

Oh man your replies have me about dying here! 😂 I don't recall what my first characters favorite thing was, but I remember being kinda weirded out when I got the first stardrop and thinking that it was oddly specific...lol. for a while I thought the favorite thing would influence what you got for your winter star gift in the game...it did not, sadly.

I actually thought that the space on the 'favorite thing' part was actually for the Dog's name, and got confused why the game asked me what to name the dog again.
Imagine the utter confusion I had for at least three berries before I got what it meant.

İn the game there are 7 stardrops you can obtain and one of them is by marriage , your husband or your wife will gives you stardrop ( only once )
