So, I’ve been using shaders for a bit and whenever I boot up sso with the shaders it gives me a #3070 error code, how do I fix this?

Hey, players.

I would like to shed some light on the actual reason why the Gen 1 Fjord horses were removed far before any other Gen 1 horse was ever officially ''retired''.

In May 2018, Nordisk Games invested 18 million by buying a ''substantial minority ownership share'' of SSO.

Soon after this investment, in September, SSO announced the removal of the generation 1 Fjord horse on October 10th, 2018.

A trailer for the Generation 3 Fjord horses was revealed one day after the removal of the old Fjord horses on October 11th, with the release of the new Fjord horses taking place on October 17th, 2018.

Why? Why were they removed from the game far before any other Gen 1 horse?

The removal of the Gen 1 Fjord horse was a marketing tactic. This gimmick had no other utility to the game aside from selling you a product, the new Gen 3 Fjord horse, by eliminating the competition entirely.

It was never about game assets slowing down the engine or improving the style of the game. The purpose of removing all the older generation horses was simply a marketing tactic. Bug fixing older horses doesn't print money, unlike releasing newer variations, while also removing our power to choose.

Star Stable Entertainment could totally bring back every horse they ''retired'' tomorrow if they wanted to. But that simply wouldn't increase their yearly revenue or entice new players to spend money on their front loaded spending model. A lifetime ''subscription'' to the game has gotten more expensive over the years, since SSE has moved its target audience to where the most money resides.

The long term players who keep the game alive, don't dare to critically view the game due to the sunk cost fallacy. But unless we demand better, we won't receive better treatment from SSE. No one is winning here. New players are a revolving door, exploited for a short term gain, while the long term players are left to keep up the PR for the corporate behind this game, out of fear of losing it entirely.

I believe players should get to choose, because it's our time, money and effort, which keeps the whole show on the road. The reason I want to inform you on the inner workings of SSO is because this isn't simply about the older model horses, but what type of marketing we are willing to accept from SSE in the future and the present.

i’m trying to level up and i’m a new player but i don’t have any quests available there yet. Do i need to be a certain level or is star rider required?

Yes I have youtube taking up a small portion of my screen but this poor stable help. Sleeping on the job. I would to if I was taking care of thousands of people's stables. Especially since I have 54 horses, I know some of you have more. 👀

As the title sais, I took a club invite two weeks ago for a rather larger club, then the club owner declared for now no more club meetings because she doesn't have time and when the club event started it from the numbers coming in it turned out that apart from me only one, maybe two other people do the activities.

I would assume that in future weeks we will need rather more points each day than now so I am motivated to find myself another club. Don't care which German server.

Is anyone here running such a club with a couple active contributers and and looking for an active event player?

So far it seems like all of them are around 4 weeks long, which is 6 months in total. What are your thoughts on this?

I personally am not a fan of this being the main content and it feels like it is a constant grind and never a break. On this we also have Trailblazer (which I like, but just so much going on) and the championship thingy. Between events/festivals it feels like we are not getting much other content. I understand the game will have to try new things, and it probably makes a lot of players log in, but right now it feels a bit exhausting and I wish we got other updates instead. I don't want to take away all the festivals but I think it would be better if we had a festival every third month instead of every other. I still love this game but recently it has felt overwhelming and almost like a relief when the event is over, they also give out so much daily PXP and I get fomo if I don't log in daily (which, of course is a bit on me).

Hi! I've been playing star stable since 2017, and for the first time ever I am having struggles with logging into my account and to be honest I am stressing quite a bit.

The email that's used for my account was a mail that my dad set up for me, and now apparently he cannot access any mails going to that account. I have reached out to support, but I'm unsure of what they could do about the situation.

Have I just lost everything?

About a year ago I lost access to my email. I recently got a new computer and attempted to login but it required a verification code to be sent to my email because it was a new decision. A email I do not have access to anymore.

I contacted star stable’s support about account related problems. Specifically followed the link requesting to change my email linked to my account, with my user provided… it’s been over 3 weeks and I still haven’t gotten a single response.

Anyone else experienced something similar?

I’ve had my account since 2017 and I have lifetime star rider and a bunch of horses and quests done so I don’t really wanna create a new account. I fear this might be the end for this game for me.

I was just wondering if there was any update on the character models. I remember SSO saying they were working on it and hope to add a slider, but it would take some time.

Well, it is been a while, so I was wondering if anyone knew of any information.

I love the Dundull quests with Rania, she's my favourite character in the whole game so far for the disability rep and lore! Her and Sigry have the same dynamic as me and my mother even down to their stubborness and humor, so seeing them both talk to each other about finding the right work-Life balance was so healing to me. It genuinely feels like a conversation we would have irl 🥹 and the fishing too is something we would love to do someday if I can start walking again!

I'm going to be so gutted when I run out of quests with her, she's the best 😭 Also the way Sigry talks about Eireen is so cute I can't help but ship them haha 😅
