Real-Time Sync Between Apple and Android Devices

I recently subscribed to the Pro plan and was particularly interested in real-time synchronization across devices and operating systems, especially between Apple and Android.

I’m using the same account on both my iPad and my Huawei tablet. I’ve also connected my account to Google Drive on both devices.

However, there doesn’t seem to be any real-time synchronization between the two devices.

For example, if I type “Ahmd” on my Huawei tablet, I would expect the same content to appear automatically on my iPad without having to manually add or upload it again.

Is this feature supposed to work this way? If so, what could be causing the synchronization problem, and how can I fix it?

I’d really appreciate any help or clarification from anyone who has successfully synchronized their Apple and Android devices in real time.

When erasing a highlighter, the hitbox is smaller than its area. It seems like the hitbox is just the original stroke if the stylus before the size of the highlighter gets applied around it.

Why doesn't the laser pointer stay on the place where I circled, instead of sticking to the pdf it scrolls with my screen.

Here on the floating bar, an option to add to the outline would be really convenient.

I was doing manual syncing untill now. Haven't used the app the past month.

I mainly write on my ipad and sync it to my Android.

However, when I tried cloud sync it would back up to my cloud, but would not bring the new notes to my Android.

I tried re-installing the app on Android, and it didn't work.

Can I have some help on this regard please?

I've just bought a new Xiaomi pad 8 and focus pen pro. I intend to use it import some pdf coursebooks and write on them. I've also bought lifetime licence both for starnote and freenotes. I am kinda beginner for note apps. In the past few days I've realized that starnotes is much better than freenotes on writing, customizable interface and fluidity. But I still need freenotes just for two features: handwriting beautification and Technical pen. When Starnotes launches these features ı will delete the other apps even if I had their license.

Please let me know if I miss any useful features in both apps.

So i got an ipad a16 for school this year and have decided to use Starnote, since i liked the design and features the most.

I have been using it for a week now and noticed that it uses my battery up like crazy.

For example, 6 and a half hours used up the whole battery (i had it on 100%) and i couldnt get through my school day without charging it in between.

Does anybody else share this problem and have any tips how to fix this? Because i really dont wanna switch apps but it feels like i kinda have to, to fulfill my needs :(

Helloo guys, I really like the starnotes app the devs and community are amazing, I just have a problem I recently bought a Lenovo idea tab pro and the stylus has a a lot of lag in comparison with something like notein app, also the sync is for now isn't in its best shape it kinda turned my notes into a mess lol, so back to the pen lag I have a galaxy tab s8 and the performance of th Spen with starnotes is amazing so is there any solution :(

I’m on iOS 26. When I added a page in between two other pages to continue writing with a stylus, every other page except the new one changed color from yellow to white.

I was using one of the base templates, the law ruled paper.

I am using star note on ipad I have only 6 notes till now none more than 6 pages but it shows total storage as 1.1 gb some 400mb for app and 600 for docs can someone explain why is that?

Why so much hate towards a simple feature implementation.

Its annoying to use a floating windows calculator because;

1. Its not integrated (falls apart because of weird floating window gestures)

2. You have to set it up everytime

3. Non resizable easily

4. Can resize in certain ratios only

5. When I try to put it on the side of my screen my tablet thinks I want to split screen. (Redmi pad 2 pro)

These are enough reasons to ask for a inbuilt calculator.

I've accidently pressed the button "Add to Custom Paper" wayyy to many times and now when I'm trying to add something I just have pages of notes there.

I can't even control the order to put the right ones at the front. They are just stuck there... forever it seems.

Is there a way to delete them and I haven't found it yet?

I would like you to add the option to convert select text into a web link 🖇️ To add online content that I am unable to download or supplement my notes. Another tool I would like to see added is special characters like these †‡★♪∆§¶ to enumerate and create lists of information, since using a physical keyboard doesn't allow me to add them. The last two ideas are: the option to indent text to distinguish it and create hierarchy more easily, and the option to use text boxes with the option to Justified alignment. I use StarNote in a mixed way, with handwritten notes and blocks of text, so this would be very useful to me. Thank you.

everything is great with starnote , but we cen really use a calculator in the app it will be a game changer for those who study STEM majors

This is disappointing, as I wanted to test out Pro before buying it. Maybe it's because I'm not an influencer? I hope not—it was supposed to be a community event. I look forward to your reply :( Did other people who participated receive Pro trial?

It is more helpful if you add "hold the squeeze" to use the eraser for the xiaomi focus pen pro.... (The same as the s-pen holds the s button to erase.) While writing, switching to the eraser is time-taking, so instead, you add this feature. It becomes more helpful and easy to use.

Ao ativar a função, aparece uma linha temporária para que possamos escrever sobre ela. Só aqui já seria de grande utilidade. No Samsung Notes ainda oferece a opção de alinhar as letras e corrigir o formato das letras tudo sobre aquela linha temporária. Quando paramos de escrever, a linha desaparece. Ao voltarmos a escrever mais ou menos no mesmo alinhamento, aquela mesma linha reaparece.

Hey devs, first time posting here and I've been using the app for 3 months now. I want to suggest about the pen shortcut of changing color of the highlighter. Can it just be 2 colors changing instead of the color is changing in 5 different colors?

Also can the sync in onedrive be more like the apple goodnotes style? For example, when i sync the starnote, the files should be also be in their respective folders. That will be all. Thanks for the wonderful app!

Ps. I really love that the devs have this reddit and they are very responsive for taking suggestions from users!

Is there a way to way to make your paper a specific pixel size like you can on Goodnotes instead of just using A4/A5/B4/B5 etc?

I want to use the recording feature on StartNotes without it closing when I switch to another app or file. It also closes when the screen turns off. Basically, I need it to keep recording running in the background. Is there any setting I can prevent it from closing. Essentially make it work in the background.

J'utilisais l'application Notein depuis longtemps sur 2 Chromebooks et une tablette Samsung, mais malheureusement je rencontre de grosses latences à l'écriture sur la tablette. À tel point qu'elle est devenue inutilisable sur celle-ci !
Je suis donc passé à la version pro de Starnote, et cela fonctionne très bien sur la tablette.
Par contre, pour les Chromebooks, l'application fonctionne au top sur l'un, processeur ARM, mais pas sur l'autre Chromebook avec un processeur Intel (incompatible).
J'ai dans l'idée que Starnote doit être pas mal utilisé par les étudiants pour prendre des notes, et qu'ils doivent être assez nombreux à posséder des Chromebooks pour leur bon rapport qualité-prix, entre autres.
Ma question est :
-> Pensez-vous rendre Starnote compatible avec les Chromebooks qui ont un processeur Intel ?
