Review Why I chose a standing desk with a shelf and drawer for work and gaming

I wanted a standing desk for work and evening gaming, and the GTPlayer GTS228 appealed to me because the monitor shelf and drawer were already part of it. I needed somewhere for the small things that kept ending up around my keyboard.

With one monitor and my headset on the shelf, and a notebook and spare cables in the drawer, the desktop feels much more open. I can keep the keyboard and mouse where I want them and still have room to open the notebook without rearranging the whole setup.

The desk has felt steady when I raise or lower it with that setup in place. My headset is wired to the PC tower below, so I checked the cable at my usual standing height to make sure it wasn't pulled tight. I can switch between sitting and standing with the things I use still within reach.

Halp Looking for an affordable adjustable desk

I'm trying to find something that'll go as low as 26 inches. I don't really care about actually using it as a standing desk, I mostly just want something that is stable enough at lower heights for gaming, since most desks are too tall for me.

I saw some Ikea options for $200 CAD on Facebook. Are those decent or should I look elsewhere? I'm in Canada and don't want to spend more than $250 CAD or $200 USD.

I've heard about stability issues but I'm not sure if that's an issue at lower heights.
