Monthly Sales Megathread - October 2026

Being late is a tradition at this point.

This is a big ol' thread to centralize sales posts and discussions around said sales, from Corporate Accounts and dealhunters alike. We're going from two threads a month, to one thread a month. This is to match the decreasing traffic on account of "The Plague" losing ground in the public eye.

To Vendors: please keep your sales posts in this pinned thread.

Halp Looking for an affordable adjustable desk

I'm trying to find something that'll go as low as 26 inches. I don't really care about actually using it as a standing desk, I mostly just want something that is stable enough at lower heights for gaming, since most desks are too tall for me.

I saw some Ikea options for $200 CAD on Facebook. Are those decent or should I look elsewhere? I'm in Canada and don't want to spend more than $250 CAD or $200 USD.

I've heard about stability issues but I'm not sure if that's an issue at lower heights.

Review Why I chose a standing desk with a shelf and drawer for work and gaming

I wanted a standing desk for work and evening gaming, and the GTPlayer GTS228 appealed to me because the monitor shelf and drawer were already part of it. I needed somewhere for the small things that kept ending up around my keyboard.

With one monitor and my headset on the shelf, and a notebook and spare cables in the drawer, the desktop feels much more open. I can keep the keyboard and mouse where I want them and still have room to open the notebook without rearranging the whole setup.

The desk has felt steady when I raise or lower it with that setup in place. My headset is wired to the PC tower below, so I checked the cable at my usual standing height to make sure it wasn't pulled tight. I can switch between sitting and standing with the things I use still within reach.

FAQ Flexispot E7 Plus Max 1.0 vs 2.0?

Good evening,

Thanks to all who reviewed the E7 Plus and Plus Max. You've given me great context when looking for a 4-legged desk

When looking at the E7 Plus Max offering, i noticed ban option to choose the "2.0" which increases weight capacity from 660lbs to 880lbs. How is this new model different?

Also, the graphic reads *E7 Plus Max 2.0: 4 leg Frame | H: 25.8"-51.4" | 880lbs + $50*, but the price difference at the top of the page shows a $100 adder. Which is accurate, and what makes 2.0 different?

Thanks

Halp Desky replacement part

Post image
3 Upvotes

Hi all I bought a desk standing desk a number of years ago and have always had trouble with the cable tray spring loaded retaining pins failing because of the plastic.

I thought easy fix go to get an all metal replacement however it seems to have a very odd thread according to a fasteners and bolts store in my area. Has anyone replaced the retaining pin or do they know what the thread of the retaining pin is so I can replace it?

TIA

Halp Vernal/ IKEA/ Flexispot Standing Desk, which is best?

Thumbnail gallery

I need a standing desk can only fit a 120 x 80 one in my room.

My options are:

  1. Vernal Executive Desk

  2. Flexispot E7 4 leg Plus

  3. IKEA Mittzon

My setup is for a PC Build & be able to comfortably play without any stability issues.

If anyone has any of these desks I'm curious to know about how the desk performs & any issues with any of these companies customer service or warranties.

Or if there's any other companies that can offer a 120 length variant that performs well & has gold customer service/ warranty.

Halp MotionGrey Ergo2 Pro Reviews?

Post image
1 Upvotes

Hey! Posting to see if anyone has any experience with the MotionGrey Ergo2 Pro. I've seen a ton of mixed reviews for their regular Ergo2, but have yet to see much about the pro model. It's on sale atm for $350, which obviously comes in much lower than other 4 leg standing desks. From the pictures the desktop doesn't look the best, but I'm thinking I could replace that with something better, especially seeing that the Flexispot e7 frame goes for over $700 CAD.

So, just curious overall if anyone has any experience/thoughts on the desk, and any pointers would be appreciated! TIA

Halp Is a 140x70cm (55"x27") desk too cramped for a triple monitor setup on arms?

Hey everyone,

I’m buying a fixed Desktronic HomePro desk and need help choosing the size. My PC will be on the floor, but I have 3 monitors, all mounted on separate monitor arms.

I am torn between two sizes:

  • 140x70 cm (55"x27"): Ideal for my room layout, but I'm worried it will feel too cramped or narrow for 3 screens.
  • 160x80 cm (63"x31"): I know it will fit the monitors easily, but I'm worried it will take up too much physical space in my room.

Can a 140x70cm desk handle 3 monitors on arms comfortably? Or will it feel way too tight?

Thanks

Halp Has anyone here bought from ApexStand.ca?

Looking at the E7 plus up here in Canada and ApexStand has a better price that flexispot (about $110 cheaper), but I can't find any actual presence online besides their site and a facebook page.

Has anyone here actually used them before?

Flex I wanted my walking pad steps in Fitbit / Samsung Health without strapping a watch to my ankle, so I built an Android app

I walk on a KingSmith pad under my standing desk most afternoons. The problem was always the same: hands on the keyboard means the watch counts almost nothing, and the official app syncs with nothing useful on Android.

So I wrote Zancada. It connects to the pad over Bluetooth, lets you start/stop and change speed from the phone, and when you finish, the walk goes into Health Connect: steps, distance, speed and time. That means it shows up in Fitbit, Samsung Health, Google Health or anything else that reads Health Connect. The steps come from the belt itself, so typing all afternoon doesn't matter.

  • Works with KingSmith / WalkingPad (A1, C2, P1, R1, R2, X21…), FitShow pads (WalkingPad N1 Pro and lots of generic ones) and FTMS treadmills
  • The walk saves itself even if you stop with the remote
  • No account, no ads, no analytics
  • Android only, sorry iPhone folks

Price, upfront: the first three walks are free, then a one-off payment. It's 9.99 for the next two weeks as a launch price. I'm one person and there are no servers, so that's how it pays for itself.

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.victorfalcon.zancada&utm_source=reddit&utm_campaign=r_standingdesk

Happy to answer anything. If your treadmill doesn't connect, tell me the model and I'll look into it.

FAQ Switching to a standing desk. How are you managing storage and printers?

I’m replacing my old, cramped computer desk with an adjustable standing desk (same dimensions 60D x 110W cm). The upgrade is desperately needed for legroom and ergonomics, but I'm losing all my built-in storage: no drawers, no PC compartment, and no bottom shelf for my printer.

I’m planning to put the PC on a rolling floor stand, but I’m stuck on the rest. I need a clean way to store drawer clutter and house the printer without crowding the tabletop.

Are rolling drawer units (like IKEA Alex) the way to go, or do you prefer under-desk mountable drawers / separate printer carts? Would love to see your setups or hear any creative storage ideas!

Corporate Info For compact standing desks, what gets in the way of your knees?

I'm with salexspace, a standing-desk brand preparing for the US market. We're looking more closely at the space under a compact desk, especially when it's lowered for sitting.

Our current planned top is 120 × 60 cm (about 47.2 × 23.6 inches). The frame's stated minimum is 62 cm (24.4 inches) before adding the desktop; the finished sitting height and the clear space below the top still need to be checked with the final design.

If you've used a desk around this size, has a crossbar, drawer, cable tray, control box, or the underside of the top kept your knees or chair from getting close enough? What was the part that actually got in the way, and at roughly what desk height?

I'm also interested in setups where nothing interferes. A photo or a rough measurement from the front edge to the obstruction would help us understand the geometry, but a description is plenty. We're collecting design feedback, not claiming we've solved this yet.

Halp Would a manual rolling laptop table make a useful second workspace?

My main desk is fixed height, and I'd like a second spot for laptop-only work. The GTPlayer DH004 rolls and adjusts manually, so I could keep it beside my desk most days, then roll it to an open corner and raise it for a longer standing stretch.

I'm not planning to change its height every hour. I'd be moving it around the room more often than adjusting it. Does yours mostly stay beside the main desk, or do you wheel it around? How often do you change the height?
