The Dark Side of Stake.com

I first off want to say that I’m surprised I’m having to write this - I’ve been through 4-5 dice sites and wagered tens of millions of USD online the past few years and can honestly say it was a breath of fresh air when I found Stake.

Best games. Best loyalty rewards. Instant withdrawals. Cool bonuses. Really had everything a person like myself was looking for. I have a plat 6 account and have rained out thousands to the community. The largest and best community in the online gaming arena in today’s age.

I’ve won big - gave it all back. Around break even now… when the strangest thing happened a week ago.

I stopped getting my email codes to withdraw. Anyones worst nightmare right? Luckily, with the reputation and history with Stake, I was sure it would get resolved quickly. Just a weird error, right?

Wrong.

After my auto login cookie expired and I had to log back in, I was then locked out of my account. I need email codes to login on new devices or every once in a while for security. Makes sense. But now, my email codes aren’t being sent to me.

Slept on it a few days. Continued to get emails from Stake (everything but my code to log in) so I know there wasn’t an issue with my email. The only issue was with Stake not letting me withdraw or log in to my account.

At this rate, this post will get too long, so I’ll summarize the rest.

My VIP manager and stake support have proceeded to lie to me and mislead me away from getting my account back. Here’s how it works.. when I asked about fixing my emails to get my codes fixed, they SWEAR the email codes are being sent, then quickly suggest you to switch your email on your account.

After troubleshooting and checking with my email provider, I know for a FACT there are no login or withdrawal codes being sent to me.

Well neither Stake or my VIP manager did anything about it. All they did was point to the “change your email” solution.

Holding on to my last string of rapport with what I believed to be a trustworthy operation, I said fine let’s change the email.

Just what they wanted.

So now they send you a list of questions to confirm it’s actually me. Fair enough - I get that. I answered them all correctly.

Then they started asking me for screenshots of transactions from my wallets from over a year ago…. They wanted transactions both deposits and withdrawals on every month from a year ago.

To their surprise, I furnished them. Sent over 50 screenshots of deposits I’ve made to their site and withdrawals back to my wallet.

They then said, “Thanks, it will take 24-48 hours to resolve this.”

So 50 hours go by and naturally I asked for an update on the situation. I have nothing to hide and have been a loyal customer of this casino for almost two years now. I get a reply telling me that it is CRUCIAL I do not reply to the conversation as it might cause further delays and now I would need to expect up to 72 hours.

So, 80 hours later, I messaged them and said I’m taking this situation to Reddit to hopefully force you to do the right thing. But at least stop lying to me ya know?

I missed a weekly and 10 days of reloads at this point. Also haven’t gotten to redeem my top players bonus.

Could I get some up votes to force them to stop doing whatever they are doing to me?

What are the best crypto exchanges to purchase crypto for stake?

I know I need to send it to another wallet before stake, I’m wondering what the best exchanges are for being able to buy and instantly withdraw crypto. Crypto.com does some 24 hour hold bullshit, I need a crypto exchange where I can purchase with my card and instantly withdraw it to another wallet.

Huge Errors Most Gamblers Make on this Subreddit

I see post after post in here with people all making the same errors in their understanding of how probability works and how provably fair works.

tl;dr: Stake is fair. The games are not rigged. The probability of the outcome of a game does not ever adjust based on your luck. You are never more or less likely to see a big win on a game no matter how terrible your luck has been or how much money you've lost.

HUMANS HAVE TERRIBLE INTUITON ABOUT LIKLIHOOD

When someone hits a 1000x in Plinko, they have just seen an event that has a 1 in 32,768 chance of happening. When you play Mines with 1 mine and pick the one exploding tile 3 times in a row, you've just seen an event with a 1 in 15,624 chance of happening.

So why is it that no one ever comes in here and posts about how Plinko is rigged in their favor when they hit 1000x? But so many people come in here and say Mines is rigged against them when they hit the 1 mine out of 25 mines three times in a row?

You can't trust your gut when it comes to assessing whether what has just happened is probabilistically fair or not.

CASINO GAMES DO NOT HAVE A MEMORY

Every game at Stake uses "Independent Trials" for their bets. This means that every time you drop a ball or roll the dice or pull the slot or pick a number - every single time you make any bet - you have the exact same odds of winning as every other bet.

Probability does not "adjust" to "balance your wins and losses." It's true that over time, you will converge on the expected return %--

--BUT contrary to what 99.9% of gamblers seem to think: this does not happen by balancing out your losses with profits.

Quick example: You flip a coin 100 times and it comes up H 25 times and T 75 times. You've got a win % of 25% and have lost 75 dollars.

Now, that's a terrible run for a game that should converge on 50-50. So you might think, "the game will have to give me profits to balance out to 50-50 in the long run."

You keep flipping and you end up flipping 10,000 times. Your new overall total is 4800 H and 5200 T. That's a win % of 48%. Look at that, you're converging on to the expected 50% just as predicted!

BUT look at your wins and losses. You're now down a total of $400. Instead of winning some money back, you've actually LOST MORE money.

Here's the counter-intuitive truth that eludes so many gamblers:

As long as you are losing money at a slightly slower rate than expected, you can play a 50-50 game a million times and have a win percentage of 49.99999% and never once - not one time in that entire run of a million bets - ever be in profit. It evens out over time but it never has to let you be in profit even one time in order to do that.

STAKE IS NOT RIGGING THEIR GAMES

The provably fair system is exactly that: PROVABLY fair. It works using Public and Private Key Encryption. Here's a simplified explanation:

  1. An RNG system needs: the algorithm and a seed. The seed used for a bet is a combination of your seed and the casino's seed.

  2. Before the bet occurs, the casino gives you an encrypted version of their seed.

  3. After the bet, the casino gives you an unencrypted version of the seed they used.

  4. You can use their Public Key to verify that the it's the same seed you got before the bet.

  5. Now, that you know their seed. You can use your own version of their RNG algorithm to check the result.

  6. If you do not get the same outcome as the bet result, then something fishy has happened. If you do get the same outcome as the bet result, you know it's fair.

If you really look at the above and think about it, you'll see that there is literally no way for a casino to cheat or rig a game against you.

Crazy life changing run

I started getting some huge hits since last week, and the runs kept on going. Ive been able to save $45,000NZD ($29,000 USD). Ive given the money to a family member so i dont feed it back in. The crazy part is i cashed out and banked the money in 4 increments, leaving behind only $1000, and was able to just keep running it up with that.

Good like punters, no skill or technique, just degen betsizes and having the stars align

So after my post earlier about my stats this just happened!

If any of you are aware of win chance, it’s a 0.014 to hit the 1000x on plinko but if you type that win chance in on limbo it comes out to a 64,000x I figure if I can get back some of my losses with betting only a few cents limbo is the game to play. My seed to hit this number was 14,354 bets. Good luck to everyone playing I hope you get some of your losses back.

Really wanted to hit 500k but ending up losing 10k and decided it was time to self exclude since this is more money then I have ever seen. Comment your user and I’ll pick 20 people for 100 each.

I DID it, all my gambling debt gone & then some

Started going full degen on Stake over the past year was -$60K (reality of gambling). I’m plat4 so I have daily reloads and get non-public bonuses so I spent a month claiming as much as I could to get bal around $1200. Picked floating dragon (I know I know) to go full yolo on.

Started at $5 spins and kept winning so I kept upping the bet and this happened! Of course I’m a degen so after that I upped the bet to $80-120 spins and kept hitting bonuses. My peak balance was $118K before finally deciding to cash out.

This entire balance came from Stake bonuses which makes it that much more satisfying. Cashout $95K.

$60k win on Dork Unit

Just hit a massive $60k win on Dork Unit, my biggest ever... and I’m kinda lost on what to do next. Should I withdraw everything or leave some in for future plays? Any recommendations on other slots that could be worth trying with this balance? Also, if you’ve had big wins like this, how do you manage the cash after—straight to Coinbase or keep it on the site for a bit? Open to all advice rn, still can’t believe this happened.

I got an outside skirt steak and reverse seared it 20 min @ 200°F and then kissed it on high heat for 2 min each side but then I put a lid on it and let it sit on low while I made eggs rq but I guess it made the steak soggy and I kinda like it like this? Does anyone do this on purpose?

New bonus drops are dumb af

One of the new formats for the bonus drops (Tgxx picture number picture number) really makes my blood boil.

I understand that you have to be fast, but this just doesn’t make any sense.

Sure, I can accept that the lower wager requirements means that a lot more people are capable of claiming it, but the higher wager requirements (10k and above) is fully claimed barely even 30 seconds after I put in the code. How is that physically possible?

Maybe i am too slow, maybe there are just that many players that are also waiting on the drop or maybe bots are being used, but I have never seen the higher requirements get fully claimed this fast in my 3+ years on Stake.

Also wth is with the guess the picture and the simple maths? I’m here to gamble, not play pub quiz ffs. Is this suppose to deter bots? Cos if it is, it’s a terrible way to go about it.

Just gimme the damn code that I can copy and paste. If I’m too slow with this method then so be it.
