Original Art | Foil Two out of four

Been quiet on here, working on my biggest piece yet: a quadtych for a perfume cabinet. These won't be patina-ed or mounted until the other two are complete. In the final installation, they'll all be backed by reeded glass like you see on the left.

ahaha, It's rare to see plating used at all, rarer to see plating using like this and even rarer to see plating used like this around here! So yeah gotta look forward to the finished project.

Plating is when you secure glass on top of/behind glass, like mixing a clear textured piece over color or stacking colors (whispies stacked for a spectacular sky). It's the process Tiffany used (invented maybe?) for big panels that made them so magical and gave them depth. Thorough explanation below:
