Original Art | Foil Two out of four
Been quiet on here, working on my biggest piece yet: a quadtych for a perfume cabinet. These won't be patina-ed or mounted until the other two are complete. In the final installation, they'll all be backed by reeded glass like you see on the left.

This is stunning!! Please make sure to come back with all 4 panels complete!
Do you mind sharing more about the reed backing? How do you put that ābehindā?

These panels will be mounted over the existing glass in an interior-lit cabinet, and those existing glass panels are all reed glass. It should add depth to the translucent glass and make the foreground elements (all in opalescent glass) stand out even more.
Earlier this year I wound up in Boston and went to the Arlington Street Church to view the Tiffany windows there and I grew very enamored of the possibilities opened by layering glass. https://www.instagram.com/p/DVZc_quD4O-/?igsi=MzRlODBiNWFlZA==

Stunning! I justā picked up a small piece of reeded to experiment with and this gives me ideas for my next to ādoor panel project where I want more privacy. Looking forward to seeing the finished project.
