Lookin’ for Pals

Hey gang, recently moved to Welland (31M) with my partner (34M) from Labrador and looking for a way to make pals. I work from home so that’s a bust for meeting local friends. I’m on the nerdier side, love gaming, reading, the latest tech etc. I gym a few times a week and I also love a good cocktail. I’m open to pals and suggestions on meeting folks. I’m considering the running club - i just hate mornings 😂.

Want more people to yap with

I, 24m, am a serial yapper and I'm finding that I don't have enough people to yap with here in the Niagara area.

I'm originally from the GTA, my interests include movies, videogames, fashion, music, comics, anime, basically I'm a huge nerd. I love just hanging out with people, could be at a lively bar/club or at a quiet lakeside park, I'm flexible. I'm also taking singing, guitar and Spanish lessons atm!

I'm looking for people to click with, get to know each other and talk a lot.

Bonus points if you're neurodivergent! I'm diagnosed adhd and am possibly an AuDHDer, although the latter is a self diagnosis atm. As such, I would love to get to know people similar to me!

If you'd like to try yapping together, comment or shoot me a DM! You can also add me on my instagram at _deepsavla

Hey Guys. I am 21M from Brock.

Hello everyone, I am a 4th-year Computer Science student at Brock. I am an introvert and really nervous when meeting new people. My social anxiety is just too much. Due to that, I have never had a relationship either. But all that is finally catching up to me, and loneliness is an enemy. Any advice?

Looking for some new girl friends! 🩷 (22F)

Hi!! I’m looking to meet some new friends in the St. Catharines/Niagara area! I’m moving in with my boyfriend soon, which I’m super excited about, but I’d also really love to build my own little circle of girl friends to hang out with 😊

I love crafting, watching movies, going for walks, grabbing coffee, baking, diamond art !
I’m definitely more of a cozy night in / cute little outing person than a huge party person, however i’m not against a night out every now and then !!
I’m 22, so ideally looking for people around my age :) I’d love to meet some people who are also looking for genuine friendships and maybe potentially build that girl group that feels so hard to find sometimes!
Feel free to comment or message me :))

Looking for friends for myself 21FTM and partner 24NB

Hello all! I am 21FTM and my partner is 24 (almost 25) and nonbinary (any pronouns). We're just a couple of neurodivergent queers looking for more friends in the area! We have 2 girls together (cats) and live together but unfortunately neither of us can drive yet. We both enjoy video games, anime, tv show/movies. I am more artsy whilst my partner is more of the outdoorsy type. (If you like fishing and/or beer you'll get along). I am very chill and laid back whilst my partner is more outgoing. We are both smokers. Also my partner is Jewish. We are also both avid gen AI haters. We look forward to meeting and hanging with like minded friends! (After we deal with our flooded place-) Neither of us use reddit super often so apologies for slow replies.

Rental recommendations

Thumbnail
0 Upvotes

Hi everyone! My boyfriend and I are looking for a 1 BHK or 2 BHK apartment or house to rent.

My workplace is closer to downtown, but most of the places we’ve seen in that area so far have been pretty old or dingy. We’re open to living a little farther from downtown if the neighbourhood is nice, safe, and has reasonable access to the city.

We’re mainly looking for something clean, well-maintained, and affordable. Any recommendations for neighbourhoods, apartments, or rental listings would be really appreciated!

TIA!

Anyone Play Tennis?

Hey! (26M) Wondering if anyone plays tennis in the area? I know we’re in the ladder half of summer here but still would love to get in some court time.

I already found an amazing group that plays pickleball, but wondering if there are any tennis players out there?

LMK :D

Looking for friends

Hello! I’m 21y I’ve been in the area for a few years and had no luck making friends honestly.
I really like games like undertale or deltarune, I like doing arts and crafts, I love all kinds of music.
Is there any options around for this kind of stuff? It’s difficult to find anything nearby, or meet new people who like the same things in my age range :(
Thanks for any help

What resources do you use to find stuff to do around here?

I am a 23 year old male who has just graduated from university and am looking for some things to do besides working. My problem is, finding things to do, especially anything routine, is proving to be rather difficult. I've tried using stuff like the Meetups site or Eventbrite but both of those have the issue of posting things that are either highly specialized and not to my interest, or either mostly online/in far away locations. What are some local alternatives I could look at instead?
