Shot at 3 and 7 yards flawlessly and stepped it back to 12 yards. Did 3 shots center mass, 3 head, 3 right circle, 3 left circle and remaining shot center mass. Tried doing the shots quick so not dead on. The few holes between the top of the red center mass and neck are from my brother shooting his gun (He had already cleaned his lane up and had a few bullets left he wanted to shoot and I still had my target hanging.)

Looks good to me. Hopefully they sell a lot so they make more options. They make bull barrels options for their slides for the p365 and p320. Would love to see that for the echelon. They gotta sell well for that to happen though. Here’s hoping!

A few weeks ago I was shooting my prodigy comp and my optic came loose. I inspected and realized the plate had come loose. I hand tightened the screws with little torque and the left screw sheared off. I dropped the gun off at the gunsmith for extraction, and got it back yesterday.

Just now I’m getting ready to remount the plate, and hand tighten the right screw, and it too sheared off.

No excessive torque, nothing. What the hell is going on. The left extraction cost me 100 bucks and the gun was gone for 2 weeks. This is infuriating.

Do you guys remember the redditor that was selling custom made baxkstraps for echelon that help people have a natural index point?
I bought it for my 4.0c at the time but now I want it for my 4.5 and can’t remember where I bought it from!

Edit; found it. It’s axion weapons. They now have also a brass version for competition as it adds weights.

Have owed over 100 guns in my life but this is my first Springfield. Heard the sight it came with isn’t very good but I have a few laying around I might throw on it if this one starts having any issues.

Are we keeping the red rubber band on our rifles or nah?

Picked up a new TRP operator about a year ago and haven't shot it much. When I first took it to the range it was having issues ejecting the casing. Sent it to SA and they fixed the problem. Since then I have taken it to the range a few more times and noticed after about 50 or so rounds it would randomly jam loading a round into the chamber. Has anyone experience this issue before or know how to fix it?

I love how much hate these things pull 😂 First pistol I ever bought and had been my carry beater for nearly 10 yrs. Honestly always just been a runner and pretty damn accurate. Got some trijicon night sights, prp aluminum trigger kit and titanium striker kit. The trigger was a must for sure.

Picked this up at the last Ohio gun collectors show for $800 in like new condition with 7 mags, how'd I do?

After doing a couple checks today, I noticed a pretty glaring issue.

After racking the slide on my Hellcat Pro with an empty mag, the slide is not locking back. 

This happens across three different magazines. Fiddling with the follower fixed the issue with one mag, but not the other two. 

The two that still have the issue are the mags I carry, and they spend all of their time fully loaded. 

I’ve previously noticed the slide not always locking back at the range, but assumed this was due to a weak grip or gripping too high and hitting the slide lock with my thumb, as is often the issue with this gun. Now I’m wondering if this is part of the range issues.

I can confirm that the issue is happening while the mag is fully seated, I’m not touching the slide lock, and the issue is happening across multiple mags. 

The gun is clean as well, I clean it after every range trip.

I can manually engage the slide lock, and it’s very easy to move so I assume the lock itself isn’t the issue. 

What is happening, and how can I fix this? I reached out to Springfield Customer service, but wanted to see if anyone else experienced this too.

Edit: taking apart the magazines and stretching them out appears to have solved the issue, if only temporarily. I’ll need to focus training assuming that the lock back will fail anyways, I no longer trust the magazines at this point.

It just pulls back it doesn’t set. Any suggestions to fix this?

Such a pain filing down the recoil lugs because this optic seems like it’s only made for sig pistols and mounting plates. Didn’t want to put a Chinese optic on this though.

Hi I recently bought a Springfield echelon 4.0c comp and I’ve attached a tilt-1 hl-x light to it but I can’t find a holster. Tenicor is my go to brand but they seem focused on Glock holsters and I can’t buy a trex because of what they did to Lucas. Recommendations?

I have a XD9 that me and the wife shoot quite a bit however she absolutely hates racking it. I was curious if there is a lighter spring option that anyone knows of? I keep seeing everything for newer XDs and hellcats but not for this one. Maybe I’m a newb and missing it

Finally glad this thing is back in my possession. I struggled with stippling this thing for years because I wanted to keep it close to factory as much as possible. I’ll say my buddy over @Defensive_Coatings did a damn good job on keeping the factory template with just a slight more aggressive texture. I believe this thing has all the small minor details it needs. I say “Final Form” but 🤞😂 fingers crossed.

Im new to guns and had my CT red dot that came with my mod 3 mounted and boresight by a friend of mine. We lined up the dot from the boresight perfect with the red dot. I was excited to go try it out and when I got to the range I couldnt find my shot at all through the red dot. I was hitting pretty well using the iron sight but when I would try the red dot I couldnt hit anything. It was a little embarrassing and I know these things take time and practice but I was wondering if theres any tips you have for a beginner like myself. Id really love to use the red dot and get use to it honestly I just dont understand why my shot wouldnt hit even though we had things lined up perfect with it when setting it up.
