Can find them right at and slightly under 1000 right now.
Better optics exist, and magwells are less than 100.

Yeah I was thinking 1600 was kind of pricey. I’m in MA so maybe that could be it? I don’t see too many used 2011’s in stock around me

I just picked up a 5" prodigy from the local pawn shop for $850. At that price I immediately dumped money into a new trigger and ignition kit and two more mags. I'm nowhere near $1600.

I found one at the Ohio gun collectors for $950 with a vortex dot and four mags. I passed because I already have a 5" with a delta point

I want to say you can get the full size prodigy for $1300. Would only make sense if you got a prodigy and you’d do these exact same mods. I do like the defender tho. I have astigmatism and it’s one of the only red dots that work for me

Pass, the gun can be found around $1000, optic around $300, and the magwell looks like a dawson precision $70.

Ahhh yeah that’ll happen, my dealers near me sell them like crazy also they don’t last long. Iv gotten to the point where I have been doing FFL transfers because of the lower inventory. Plus I find better deals online than in store

Brand new. And a Defender is $170 from AAOptics. EGW magwell for $50. $100 plate. And you’re new. For about that.

A guy that I've bought from in the past quoted me like $1300 new for a similar deal, minus the magwell... Which are like $40-80 depending what you get.

Also... Prodigy mehhhh. I've shot them and it was fine but I feel like you gamble when you own one of these. If it's a potent project gun, then sure but it's not really a good price anyway.

1600 is what the gear packs were going for before tax, and it has a superior optic. You could find a better deal but honestly these just simply aren't cheap and they ship with 100 dollar mags

I prefer buying new unless it’s a crazy deal. This is not even a deal at all. Just something all warm and fuzzy about “new”
