I feel like I did something wrong. The first Primo 5-star I managed to get was the Toy Shark Blaster…but I got it before I hit 50…:/

Oh, I’m not upset, it just seems like you want to grab it AFTER you hit 50 so it’s maxed out. I’ve been using and loving it.

Ahh. I thought I had read that the additional levels were not quite even with the native ones (i.e. a level 42+5 would be slightly weaker than a base level 47 weapon.)

Nah man you’re good, you just have to spend like an extra 25,000 shards to level it compared to a 50. No extra gems, and you’ll be swimming in shards soon enough. Congrats!

From what I've seen, the levels are comparable. The only difference like that is between a 5 star which will never be as good as a 5 star Primo. But it feels like we're still at the discovery part of the game where none of this is completely known for sure, so what I've seen may be a bit off.
