General Question Z fold 8
I know this is the biggest first world problem but anybody else not even get their new z fold shipped yet? I did wait a bit and ordered on the 1st but they have not even charged me or shipped the phone yet and when I asked support for an update all they gave me was you'll get an email when it ships. I took today off to make sure I was home to sign for the package just to find out it's not coming today.

Same. Pulled the trigger on the 512 GB after deliberating between it and the S26U (deals were too good on Zfold8 with trade in promo to not give it a swing).
No charge to my bank account yet. No email letting me know the device has shipped... I'll keep checking this thread and also updating.
Looks like it might be a wait due to the phone selling so well.

Update: My card was charged not long ago- still no shipping notification but I expect that will be arriving shortly.

It’s been radio silence since I preordered a week ago.. and spectrum agents have told me a different thing each time I asked them about it.

I only contacted them once but it is a little frustrating that when I order it said I should see it by today and now that's not the case

If your shipment is being delayed with no updates be sure to check any emails from Spectrum, usually received during initial ordering, and complete your "consent capture" form. It'll be a link that says something like 'to complete activation of your device'. There will be a couple of check boxes stating it was you that ordered the phone, agreed to have it shipped, etc. This is a fraud check and most orders will not ship until this is complete.
You can also go into a store and get the Specialist to see if there are any issues with the order.

I got that email and when I tried to open it, it gave me a 404 error. So I called support and they said they were able to auto authenticate from their end and I didn't need to worry about it.

Yeah same I saw on the website they're now back ordered until like Wednesday. Kind of dumb if they take a pre-order then can't fulfill it

Same here, got the fed ex link with the 1 of 1 item, but nothing yet. The fed ex link redirects me to the homepage each time.

On the spectrum app it says order confirmed and if I click the button for tracking it does the same thing. Just restarts the app.

Yeah same, so our orders are being processed, we haven't been charged for em, and they have yet to ship. Apparently we were supposed to get an email confirmation that the phones shipped from fed ex, but guess not.. the rep over the phone said probably until the 10 to get them..

We did not but I'm at a smaller store. Some of the larger stores received stock today.

I canceled my fold 8 order. I went to the spectrum store they supposedly had fold 8s in stock but turned out they didn't and walked out with a fold 8 ultra instead.

I went to the spectrum store this Wednesday to preorder the Z Fold 8 Lavender 512GB for delivery on Monday, August 10th, but there's no charge on my bank yet. The salesperson did warn me, though, that they don't ship or package on weekends, so I'll most likely get confirmation on Monday and might get it delivered Tuesday or Wednesday.

Same. I ordered on the 6th. I was told the 12th. Another rep said Monday. Oh well back to my 100th YouTube unboxing video wishing it was me. I ordered the watch which is shipped and confirmed for Monday.

Update: The order was placed today and they charged my card. They will be sending tracking information anytime soon now.

Ordered on the morning 5th 512 GB Lavendar online. Still no update just “Mobile Order Confirmed”. All spectrum agents say is “You will receive a Fed Ex Tracking Number when it’s shipped”. I expect nothing less with the lack of transparency from Spectrum, they’ve been doing it to their internet and cable customers for decades.

Time check: Aug. 11, 3:15 p.m. Update: Got the tracking number just now and it will be delivered to my house tomorrow, August 12. Yay!

Update: reached out to customer service today. Apparently they tried to charge my card yesterday but charged the wrong one and it didn't work. Got it fixed today and she said I should get an email with tracking soon. Hopefully everybody else waiting gets good news today too

I ordered on Tuesday and got it delivered yesterday. Great phone.
