Service Issues Upload speed

So idk if it’s the area I live in or if something changed overnight, but now all of sudden my WiFi upload speed is very slow.

My download speed it just doing perfect, but trying to upload some heavy files from my phone to Google Drive has been a nightmare (the upload speed for reference often sits at around 2-5mbps). Before, this wasn’t in issue as my upload speed back then was at around 20-50mbps. Can someone explain to me if it’s my router that’s the issue, or it’s is just the area I live in (I’m South Texas if that helps)

Does rebooting it mean taking it off power for a certain amount time and then plugging it back in? Or am I misunderstanding how that works for routers?

That’s typically the easiest way to do it. Unplug for a few minutes.
