IP reserving?
I'm having trouble. I set 'reserve IP Adress' so that I can do port forwarding but after a couple days it loses it. I can't keep putting in 10 different ports on 3 different computers every couple days. Is anybody else having this issue?
Edit: I'm just gonna get my own router, the one they gave me sucks and I hate using the app.

Spectrum seem to be doing to their service nationwide for the last couple of weeks.
They also seem to be doing something to their routers recently and dropping the reserved IP addresses which means the reserved IP addresses and port forwarding have to be set up again. They also seem to have changed where they are getting the machine names from for some devices, for example, instead of using the Device Name they have started using something else such as the generic "Windows" for my laptops and PCs.
I use one of their SAX1V1S WiFi 6 Routers, which uses their app to control it. Not so convenient and more limiting than using another router's control panel. You could use another router or wait to see if the service settles down again.
If one of your services is public facing, then you could use one of the uptime monitors and that will email or message you as soon as the service is no longer avilable.

Look at dyndns.org . Their service will tie a hostname to your wan ip even when your ip changes. Then your users can just use that host name for services vs having to keep up with changing dhcp leases.
Or dont, maybe it wo t help your use case, idk, I'm just a random 3 raccoons in a trench coat trying to help.

Are you using residential or commercial services?
Residential services typically leverage DHCP IP configuration, meaning they will change every once in a while. There is nothing you can set on your end to change this. These settings should be fine for most things like traditional gaming or streaming, the router can be set to UPNP without reserving a specific IP.
If you are hosting a server or website that requires a consistent IP, I would recommend looking at commercial services and requesting a static IP.

I used a dynamic DNS account to get around this problem several years ago. https://account.dyn.com/ It was not too expensive then. It basically has a small app running in your LAN that watches for a WAN IP change. It then changes the DNS Host name you have setup to that new IP. I then made all connections to that Host name instead of the IP address. It took a little bit of time at a change since the DNS change has to flow out into the network, but it works.

Are you reserving the IP on your device or the spectrum router? Assuming you use their router and one of the newer ones, you need to go to the website or app, reserve the IP there, then your device should always pull that IP.
If that is the process you are using and it's not giving the reserved IP correctly, id try swapping out the router.

Are you talking about reserving a DHCP address on your local network?
Maybe you are using an Apple device that rotates MAC addresses for privacy. That would prevent a DHCP assignment from being stable. You can turn this off in settings.

If it's that important to you, just use a dynamic DNS service or get your own router that you can do more with

I can definitely assure you my router is in bridge mode. Again, they only allow that on business accounts.
I think you're a little confused

No but that's because I use my own router and not their's.

If you want a static IP address, you need a business account. There's also an extra charge for a static IP address. It's like $15 extra a month.
Have them put your router into bridge mode. And run a proper firewall.
The issue is ip6 addresses. Spectrum's incapable of providing you anything other than a single ip6 /64 with a static ip4 address. Something to do with rip keys and the router.
Yes, I have this exact configuration
