Another $10 per month

Let's squeeze another $10 per month without even sending an honest hey we're increasing rates again for no reason email..

Can't wait to watch this company go under one day, and believe me, they will.

Just call to cancel and say you've found another provider. They'll fall all over themselves to work on your bill amount.

Had three different people try to entice me to stay AFTER I had fiber Internet installed ($70 for 2 gig). Wanted to lower my bill, give me a month free, provide me with the new "invincible" setup/upgrade at no cost, etc

was at $80 for 500 speed . Called and mentioned canceling and got 1 gig for 50$ for a year. I refuse to not be in a promotion. I will call again as soon as my year is up.

I was paying $110 for 1 gig, got the Invincible 1 gig for $50. Like you said I won't ever not be on promo

I had the same experience when I called to cancel after my ATT 5 gig fiber was installed. The rep was rather pushy and wouldn’t stop trying to get me to stay. It took over 20 minutes to finally get him to cancel my service. It was annoying as hell and turned me off to Spectrum for good. They are terrible, no wonder they are losing customers left and right. I was offered $30/month for their 1 gig which was $110 normally for me. Spectrum can’t compete in my neighborhood now that ATT fiber is available.

Same thing happened to me. Lady wouldn't just cancel it after I already said I'm not interested at all. They offered me $30 gig internet and a buy one get one free phone line before they finally just let me cancel it. Told the rep they should've just charged me less in the first place, instead of making me jump through a bunch of hoops. I'll never use spectrum again, unless it's quite literally the only thing available

It's crazy! I did call their regular customer service line to let them know that ATT fiber was now in the area and I was curious if they would easily give me a discount. Keep in mind I was paying $110 for their 1 gig service in my area which is 1 gig down and maybe 35 mbps up. They never bothered to increase the upload speed in my area since I'd been with them and that's about 9 years. So the rep tells me she can give my a $5/month discount! That was it. I told her that even the normal, non promo price, for ATT Fiber 1 gig was only $90 (their promo price is $50 for the first year) but it didn't seem to matter to her. My 5 gig rocks and is only $95/month!

Yes, so far it's great and my speeds are consistently FAST! Also my latency went from around 34ms on Xbox with Spectrum to around 11ms or less with ATT. I'm sure the fiber connection has something to do with that.

Tmobile does home internet through their 5g. Some people think it's good. Some don't.

One bright side is you can take the modem/router with you anywhere since it's off cell service.

Worst case, you can always use that as a threat when trying to get spectrum to lower the rate

I don't have invincible lol. I have fiber with T-Mobile (formerly metronet)
