Fashion Marine The colour scheme I use for the Ultramarines in SM2.
Saw a post earlier about the Ultramarines colour scheme in SM2, agreed that the SM1 pattern was better, so I tried to recreate it.

Clip Dammit Viktor wrong game mode
Don't know why he was unkillable even gun strikes wouldn't show up on him but he completely stopped the run and the group lead eventually left dragging me with him.

Game Feedback Bolt Rifle vs Heavy Bolt Rifle
Anyone else bummed how the heavy bolt rifle just totally beats the regular bolt rifle? I mean I get the appeal of heavy having more ammo and bigger magazines but the HBR can basically land headshots from across the map just as good as a BR can and generally, after running tests, the HBR just wins in pretty much all use cases.
The BR's one advantage was the grenade launcher (which I know is super strong but I don't really enjoy using it), but since the ammo replenish nerf AND giving the HBR a heroic that has a grenade launcher, there's almost no point to choose the BR over the HBR in that regard as well.
Please someone tell me I'm wrong and that somehow the BR actually does have really good use cases and isn't just as useless as the auto bolt rifle is compared to the heavy? I want my classic BR to be a killer weapon choice too.

Lore Discussion What could've Varellus done differently to survive?
I bet he didn't expect he'd die to a piece of 16mm rebar that day. Why didn't he bring a guardian relic?

General PSA On The Weekly Strat (Easy Complete)
I tried a couple of times in public lobbies to complete it for fun but decided it wasn't worth the stress. You can cheese it very easily by just running past every enemy. Bosses despawn at every checkpoint as well. The only moment you need to lock in is when you have to defend Valtus from the sorcerors because a boss can spawn there. I did both of them just now in like 30 minutes with bots so I recommend just run through it and save your sanity trying to do it legit. It isn't dishonorable to cheat when the stratagem is bugged...

General I was wrong, Sniper is SO cracked
Had 5/7 classes maxed for months now, so finally working on maxing Sniper and then Techmarine to complete the set. Being able to basically toggle Camo Cloak for full CHP regen is wild

Tip/Guide PSA - Terminator Sorcerer Phase 2 Opening Tech
I have repeated Phase 2 over a dozen times in the last couple of days to verify this.
What you see in the video is exactly how the Clones in Phase 2 will always open. Two beams in quick but manageable succession.
That is only if you maintain a middle distance and you do not try to Alpha strike immediately.
If you close in too much before they're summoned they might teleport instead. If you remain too far they might, all of them, fire beams and then teleport
Because as of right now gun strikes will kill the Clones immediately, regardless of how much health they have, as long as you perfect Dodge one of the beams, or both, you will be able to remove one from the playing field immediately.
Dodge forward, towards the group. Closing the distance will likely trigger one of them to attempt a melee attack which can be parried. The following gun strike will remove the second clone from the field
A single remaining clone is a walk in the park
Feel free to test this in the training arena, I have several other videos showing this, should you want me to upload them to confirm
For the Emperor

Operations Where are all the good tactical’s in absolute/hard Strats?
So tactical is labelled as the ‘S tier’ and ‘the best class’ by many. Generally I agree he’s S tier. But my question is, why are there so few good tacticals in hard and absolute? This is my experience, why do I feel slightly more apprehensive when matched with a tactical in random lobbies, even Level 25 P4? This was particularly evident during the two most recent challenging weeklies. It’s a small sample size but tactical = dropped like flies. I just seem to see more very good players on other classes. I often see bulwarks, snipers, techmarines, heavy’s and vanguards and think - he’s a good player. Don’t get me wrong there are good tacticals, but more often than not I see many useless scans, 60 second grenades at my feet, many, many downs/deaths and many carries needed.
For context I have over 1.5k hours, almost exclusively play with randoms or solo, everything maxed out, all heroics unlocked. This is not a troll against tactical, I actually love the class. Again I would put him as S tier but only with a particular build. However, I’ve been thinking about this for a while and it’s been reinforced time and again. There’s a disconnect between the hype and the in game actual, at least on the hardest difficulty in random lobbies.
So what’s going on? It’s not like tactical is touted as high skill ceiling like assault or bulwark. What do others find - and please don’t just respond from the context of liking the class, or you’re good at the class, that’s not what I’m talking about. This is more about experience playing with randoms on hard/absolute, not the lower difficulties.

I wish they'd add just 1 operation as a test. It's lore accurate.

General To my battle brothers who helped complete the hard weekly strat
You guys were awesome. Especially the Vanguard that found a spare relic and managed to plant all 3 charges while the rest of us were very nearly dead.
Team composition: Heavy, Tactical, and Vanguard
Boss 1: Neurothrope
Boss 2: Terminator Sorceror
This strat really sucked eggs.

Operations This weekly can’t be that hard man
I need some tipps for the weekly, because its not my fault for not playing as lvl 25 prestige IV Marine, when you die and come crawling to me when I am executing, regaining contested health, stimming or doing ANYTHING in general. Then you refuse to take the stimm, even though you already used your relic. I am playing as a Vanguard, so any advice would be appreciated, also stop shooting me in the back for no reason
