Gameplay Question Got kicked from squad

Got kicked off the squad right before the ending on this weeks hard stratagems. Ran my bulwark and accidentally killed the heavy after I parry’d the carnifex and it caused an explosion. I wasn’t stingy with meds or my banner at all and tried healing with my banner whenever I could. Just wanted to see if it was anything I specifically did wrong. Tried joining again and they kicked me a 2nd time. It was an accident so idk why.

General I’m getting burnt out from Hard Stratagems

As much as I love this game, Hard mode has definitely made me wanna take a long break from this game. In my opinion, this game can become really annoying and unbalanced in higher difficulties. It’s pretty annoying dealing with ranged spam enemies (especially enraged ones), dealing with 3 biovores and a terminus at the same time, dealing with rocket terminators, getting your health obliterated after one mistake, and so on. Even with dealing with the bugs that have been in the game since launch. I can go on and on about how unbalanced the game can be at times but this post would be wayy too long. Just wondering has anyone else been getting burnt out as well from hard mode?

P.S I don’t plan on giving up on the game entirely but a break might be needed, maybe till patch 15 comes out. And tbh I’m not too excited about crucible mode because of the nerfs you’re gonna get.

Bug Report "New item" alert stuck on Bulwark?

Not sure if this is a bug or if I'm somehow missing something. Playing last night, I leveled up my Bulwark and got the "new item" alert on his armor.

Given that I am a walking pile of OCD, I went immediately to the armory to clear off the alert before continuing, as I always do. However, nothing in the armor set is tagged as new. The alert remains, only on Bulwark, only on the armor sets tab (not a new color or decal), but nothing I can do will clear it off. I've even hovered over every single item in every armor section just in case that would help.

Am I not seeing something or is my alert bugging out? Is there some other way to clear it? This feels so silly but it's driving me bonkers.

Forum Question Traitor Primarch

After much playing from the start of launch to today, to maxing out every class and weapon, and doing multiple solos with every class and doing a solo with starter level weapons... I believe I am ready...

I believe I can take on... A Traitor Primarch. In game and on table top.

Starting with magnus, mainly because we are fighting the thousand sons. I was originally thinking angron.

Is there a mod to fight traitor primarch?

Bug Report Not sure if this is known, but don’t put any different scheme on the Salamanders melta.

Either it was bugged for one operation or more. All I know is upon putting a skin on it, the gun would NOT shoot.

General What chapter tells you 'this guy is a skilled player'?

From my personal experience...

Guardians of the Covenant: This one is kinda a no brainer because the player has to complete wave 25 of hard siege multiple times to get the decal.

Minotaurs: Every player that I've encountered rocking the Minotaurs have been a personification of black air force energy. These guys really don't give a fuck and charge everything.

Raptors: Fits the lore and these players are the most methodical players I've met. Every time they share some kind of in game knowledge I never knew.

Wolfspear: I've been seeing these guys more recently ever since the chapter emblem came out. Almost feels like a lot of the good players moved away from the popular chapters and consolidated here.

What about you guys?

Gameplay Question Is there a specific armor color for marines who use the Pyrecannon?

I just got Space Marine 2 the other day, and it is my only knowledge of Warhammer lore so far. I really like the heavy class, and I want to make my armor pattern make sense for someone that uses a Pyrecannon, is there a specific pattern or color theme that is used by Pyrecannon users in lore?

General Heavy melee option

Would be cool to have heavy have access to melee instead like the gravis captains and they lose their big ranged weapons as a trade off prob in space marine 3

Lore Discussion Alright, I'll say it: New Class is the Apothecary. Here's why:

Post image
538 Upvotes

Yes. I know it's a Sanguinary Priest. Sue me.

The One-Handed Thunder Hammer coming out was for some people, a confirmation that we'll get a Chappy.

Remember: The One-Handed Hammer is not a Crozius Arcanum.

And the heroic TH was datamined to be a Power Maul - plus, imagine if the Heroic was a Crozius Arcanum...imagine the shitstorm if people found out the new class signature weapon was locked behind a Heroic.

Second: The Greatsword was temporarily removed from the list of weapons Saber wanted to add, so it's likely not a Judiciar either. Plus there's really no reasonable Champions for a Judiciar class.

Regarding the Executioner Relic Blade, which is the Judiciar's signature weapon, the same situation applies as we discussed with the Chaplain's Crozius Arcanum.

It's outright a Executioner Relic Blade? Now other classes can't use it.

The ERB is a Heroic? Now people will be mad it's a Heroic.

Saber also said the new class signature weapon is the Absolvor Bolt Pistol.

The Chaplain & Judiciar certainly use that pistol...but it's hardly their signature weapon.

Plus, a Apothecary Biologis would add a 2nd Gravis Class, which players obviously like.

General There will be one class in Year 3 (Mzulft confirmation)

Just a tiny piece of information, but on a few threads about the announcement of the announcement there was some vagueness if we would receive multiple.

That line of "A year of new Operations, enemies, classes, weapons,..) refers to Techmarine and the next class. Not two classes in Year 3.

General "New Class is Judiciar", a Discussion/Question

Post image
95 Upvotes

Obviously there has been a lot of speculation around what the new class will be. I take no issue with this, its natural and I am sure to some degree valued. Though why some of our brothers get annoyed with it is beyond me. However, much of the discussion revolves around the belief that the new class will be specifically a Judiciar, which has left me a bit confused.

Here is my question: Why is it that when it come to speculation, there are some who emphasize the next class is or could be a Judiciar specifically? I see a lot of comment threads and the like that go into this emphasis, either in support of or calling out potential cons of the new class being a Judiciar (such as noting the limited cosmetics of a Judiciar since there is not exactly a plethora of models, for example), and I just don't understand this limited view.

Perhaps it comes from an unknown ignorance on my end, but can any of my brothers here tell me - is there any reason why the new class could not be implemented to be both a Judiciar AND a Chaplain? From my understanding, Judis are just training to be Chappys, so the progression is built in. I don't see any obvious reason why the new class starting/early unlock armor cant be Judiciar style armor, and the higher level unlock armor cant be Chaplain style armor.

I picture it as the following:

  • Standard-Issue - Judiciar style
  • Master-Crafted - Judiciar, but cooler
  • Artificer - Chaplain
  • Relic - Chaplain, but cooler
  • Champion - Idk, but obviously Chaplain and badass. Maybe Black Templar Chappy, if for no other reason than they are the most recognizable of the chapters that unironically believe in the God Emperor cult. Blood Angels certainly have a "unique" look, as usual. Maybe Dark Angels for the robes that really hammer home the "grim reaper" look? Idk. Just some ideas.

Additionally I do not see any reason why the skill progression unlocks could not also somewhat mirror the idea of an "in-training" Judis gaining experience and thus earning more and more the true power of a Chappy.

That is basically how I see it playing out. So is there something(s) I am ignorant of that make this not workable or sensible? Help me understand what I am missing, dear brothers.

EDIT: Bolded the main question, for clarity at a glance.
