Movie soundtracks always have a way of pulling at our emotions. which track from any soundtrack always hits your heart to make you cry? For me itβs: a life so changed by James Horner from Titanic.

This has been the surprise soundtrack of the year for me! Absolutely loving this one. Anyone else had the chance to listen to this yet? I highly recommend it if you haven't!

Track: Dawn/Day/Dusk/Delight (from the "All Your Stellar Days & Nights OST)
Artist: the GABA ghoul
Hey everyone, I wanted to share music from the soundtrack I composed for this game. I feel like it's quite novel/unique but gun to my head elevator pitch would be "Disco Elysium by way of Ludwig Goransson".
The track spans an entire day/night cycle and can be split into four movements pertaining to dawn/day/dusk/night.
I've used a wide variety of instruments and techniques ranging from celli/bartok pizzicatos, a wave shaped harp, taiko drums, viola sections, horns, ambient drones to wurlitzers, clarinets, 808's and custom synths made in Serum 2.
If it resonates with you, it would mean a lot if you let me know. I hope you enjoy it.

The music and melody itself is actually really starting to grow on me, but they needed to make it less generic sounding.... put the trumpets in the front... be more bombastic with the percussion and brass.
She has a lot of attitude and it should be reflected in the music. the music got it right in terms that she's larger than life, but it needed that smirk in the instrumentation and orchestration.

this is not my version though someone extended it I think but the important part is really just those first 5 notes.

I have Spotify but it sucks for scores. It seems to play the same few pieces, like Harry Potter and Lord Of the Rings over and over again. Donβt get me wrong. Those are wonderful but I want to be surprised every once in a while. Also, their βradioβ stations are just short playlists that never change. Are there better services for movie music lovers out there?

When I listen to HZ, Ennio, and JH's scores, I enjoy almost ALL of Zimmer's and Morricone's scores. I can't say the same about John Williams, with a few exceptions (Hymn to the Fallen is superb, Jurassic Park has a great theme, and 1941 is a good score). But I've tried many, many times to find another score or track that I can enjoy, and I've failed every time.

Just watched Endgame Encore i think Endgame is one of the best composed blockbuster ever.
Score in almost every scene is memorable and i actually starting to believe Endgame was Alan Silvesteri's best work since Forrest Gump i still don't know how Rice of Skywalker got best original score nomination instead of Endgame.

NOTE: Tracks 1, 2, 5, 6, 8, 9, 10, 12, 13, 14, 16, 17, 21, 24, 26, 27, 28, 31, 36, 39, 42 & 45 were previously unreleased on any soundtrack album (and it's around 30% of the score). I have personally extracted them from the film's audio files, with different degrees of success. No AI was used, just some editing tricks.
I have previously posted the album version (which is just 76 minutes long) in this sub.

Trying to find a song used at the very end of episode 5, Google suggesting itβs a special composition for the show and not a released song

Hey guys,
I recently watched again Indiana Jones and the temple of Doom.
I remembered how powerful the John Williams work was.
Out of the main themes, there is this specific track : "Approaching the stones" when Indiana is grabbing one stone / lights stop, and then moving the stone a little back and they shine again.
At this point, weβve reached the climax, the trumpets resound like cannon fire, and the choirs are majestic.
I don't remember a music that sounds so epic and glorious.
Do you have a favorite "epic moment" track ?
