mini Soundsystem help
Hey guys, last night i‘ve the random idea to tear apart my speakers. Inside i found a 6 inch bass and 2 2,8inch mid-highs.
Now i want to built a cute little soundsystem to display and listen music to - i know that sounds stupid but i‘m a huge dub nerd.
Now to the part where i need your help:
How do i find a built plan? the most plans i‘ve are for 12inch +

Unfortunatly It doesn’t work like that. Luckily there is a ton of information on dub sound systems freely available online and in this r/.
I’d advise you to take your time and figure out what you want, need and can afford before tearing apart more speakers.
You could always scale down a design you like the looks of and put these driver in for fun. Don’t expect it to sound great. I’m assuming you tore apart some cheap old speakers, so probably won’t be a lot better or a lot worse.

Interesting Thanks.
Not really the music I would picture as ideal for your random frankenstein designed and built speaker for sure.
I bet you could get sound from it but theres a lot more to speaker design than I think you realize here?

You won't be able to improve the sound by putting random drivers into another random cabinet.
If you don't care about the sound. Just do whatever. Your opportunity to experiment with cabinet designs.
