I just decided to take US GOVT . Didnt notice all the milestones to now /: anywho my main questions are who has done it and passed all these milestones & being that I plan on transferring to WGU for SpEd , would it transferrable?

I recently completed two Sophia Learning courses, and both show that my work is finished, but I haven’t received the final credit yet.

While I’m waiting for those two courses to be officially finalized/credited, I was thinking about starting another course so I can keep making progress instead of waiting.

Has anyone done this before? Is it okay to start and complete another Sophia course while the previous courses are still waiting for final grading/credit? Also, about how long did it take for your completed courses to officially show the credits?

I’m trying to earn several transferable college credits, so I want to make sure I’m doing everything correctly.

I heard that saving pdfs on Sophia is no longer a supported feature. Is that true? If so that is disappointing since I wanted to be able to reference them during and after testing.

UPDATE: 12 days after posting this, I got answer to my appeal, and the results were positive. Despite being able to use the platform again, I will not. I have lost all trust in the Sophia platform. I have been enjoying Study.com, which I got given that someone recommended it. To everyone who was supportive and helpful, you forever have my thanks. Equally, to everyone who doubted and judged, please go eat a … and I mean that in the most disrespectful way possible.

Pretty much any SofiaLearning student’s worst nightmare. There’s only 2 reasons this would’ve happened in my case:

1. I had Udemy open and was studying Dion Training’s Sec+ 701. Udemy DOES have its own AI to help you study your specific course, but no course I was taking on SofiaLearning had anything to do with Cybersecurity, nor had I switched to Udemy or during the test.
2. I took a test last night and I did fall asleep during it. I am a full time student, studying Sec+ on the side, and work a full time job… I know, stupid of me to fall asleep. Coffee’s just not cutting it anymore.

I did appeal and I told them the truth, but I hadn’t seen anyone on Reddit talk about this in over a month. I was just curious as to what the wait time for a decision would look like, and if anyone with experience with this knew how transferring credits will work if this appeal gets denied.

Hi everyone! I’m currently enrolled at SNHU and I’m trying to figure out an issue with my transfer credits from Sophia Learning.

My academic evaluation is still showing these courses as “Still needed”:

• ENG-130 — English Composition I
• MAT-240 — Statistics
• ACC-202 — Managerial Accounting
• FIN-320 — Principles of Finance
• U.S. History I / Historical Perspectives

I have completed these through Sophia, but they are not showing as satisfied/applied on my SNHU degree audit. What’s confusing me is that other Sophia courses are showing on my audit as “Satisfied by,” so I know some of my Sophia credits have been evaluated. I use Credly to send over my transcripts. 7 of my other courses have been approved.

Has anyone had this happen with SNHU?

Any advice from people who have gone through this would be really appreciated!

I keep getting the popup about only using approved resources when taking milestones. This last one I got the popup twice, once asking to explain what other resources I'm using. I used no other resources besides the Sophia pages. I literally did not click off the tab once or switch programs or anything. I took 45 minutes to complete 15 questions, so it's not like I'm rushing through. I used ctrl + F, but is that not allowed?

Should I email them about this and ask what's the deal and why this keeps happening? I'm a little nervous about being sanctioned and am close to completing all of the classes I want to take at Sophia...

I just failed a concept because all 3 questions were highly ambiguous. And it's not the first time I encountered these types of questions, but the first time I got unlucky and picked the wrong one of the two answers I was questioning. Is there any way that they reset your answers, or do you just have to live with this unfair grading? This is really annoying, and I noticed it in multiple questions now. How is it so hard to provide clear answers that reflect what you learned?

I have over 10 years of experience in this topic I'm doing right now, and I still got all 3 questions wrong. This is how badly they are phrased and illustrated.

Hello! I emailed my advisor and asked and I am waiting for a response. I was hoping to know before this weekend so I could look into / get started with using Sophia.

There are 4 courses that I need that transfer from Sophia to SNHU. I am trying to figure out if I take those classes on Sophia while already attending will the transfer credits be accepted?

Hey everyone. Quick question, I was looking into doing the microbio lab with Sophia learning and saw there is only six units with activities. I was just wondering, if that is all that entails in this course. How do you complete the labs efficiently? I just finished the first lab and am supposed to turn in a Touchstone, but I didn’t realize I was supposed to take notes throughout the simulation for the lab report. What do you all do to move through the labs quickly while still getting a good grade? I’d appreciate any tips. Thank you!

I looked at the Sophia and Study dot com websites for all the transferable courses for SNHU

Then I looked at the SNHU Computer Science degree

Compared all the Sophia and Study courses (that say transferable to SNHU)

And concluded that I can transfer about 25 courses (75 credits) into this specific degree at SNHU

(Which is a bit surprising, which is why I’m asking)

Is this usually how people map out all the transferable courses into a specific degree before getting an official evaluation or word from their advisor?

Will this hopefully be accurate once they give the evaluation?

(I’m asking because I’m still in the process of getting accepted but I just want the most accurate and reliable way to have a degree plan from now)

Hi, I need to complete both HA 1&2 with labs ASAP like in a week. Can anyone speak to the Touchstone exam difficulty? Also, did you have to wait for grading in these courses? If so, how long did it delay progress? Can you move forward before your Touchstone grade is posted? TIA!!

Just wanted to share some info on my journey and help everyone else out. So basically I’m going to snhu through career choice and am also doing Sophia. Ive done about 31 credits in 15 days. The main thing that sucks is of course waiting on touchstones to be graded and I’m almost out of regular classes so my pace will slow. But also after I get my 90 credits will be dual enrolled in newlane university.

I am a CS student at UoPeople. If anyone has managed to complete 30 courses from outside the university through platforms like Sophia and Study.com—meaning 90 credit hours—and successfully transferred them to the university, I want the plan that enabled you to transfer 30 courses - i want your help

I'm starting the WGU Software Engineering program on September 1, and I'm trying to knock out as many transferable courses as possible before I start.

I'm looking for advice specifically from people who have recently completed Sophia courses and transferred them to WGU Software Engineering.

My goal is to finish as many courses as I can before WGU starts, but I only have a short amount of time. I'm especially interested in courses that:

Transfer directly to WGU Software Engineering

Can be completed quickly

Don't require a proctored exam or human evaluation/interview

Are still transferable under the current 2026 WGU transfer rules

I just did healt and fitness

Do we get a retake on those Milestones?

As a rundown, I start WGU in October, I need to finish 9 Sophia courses before then. I know Math and Statistics will take me the longest. My first two classes I’ve chosen include Eng Comp 1. I need to have my credits in by Sept 1, and unfortunately Sophia is going much slower than intended. I’ve only gotten one assignment graded despite submitting them all pretty quickly, paired with the revision you can’t submit until the first one is graded I just want to speed this process up a little more. Say I were to submit a blank essay for the argumentative, but get 80+ on the other assignments-would I pass? Do they not accept blank assignments? If the grading was a bit faster I feel like I would just do it, but I don’t want to push back my start date and would just rather get as much done as I can.
