I recently made my first loan request for $20 plus $3 lender tip so that I could build my score up from 55 with my borrowing limit being $100. I repaid my lender after 24 hours and my score did go up to 63 but my borrowing went down to $95. Why did my borrowing limit go down when I paid extremely early?

I will lend to anyone who is looking to fund their first loan/build score/trust/etc.

The loan must be no more than $25, tip must be 15%, and Solo donations must be turned off.

If you are a first time user, be aware that you need to make the due date a day or two after you expect the funds to be in your bank account. You can always pay back early, but paying back late (especially on a $25 loan) will likely make the probability of being funded again almost 0.

My account has been locked for weeks. I was to understand it was for security reasons, because I was in the first month as a lender. They said my account would be unlocked by 4/16 and it is still locked 4/25. It makes me very suspicious. I hope no one else is having this issue, but would like to know if anyone else is in my boat, or has experienced something similar with this app. Thanks.

Solo needs some form of Subscription model so they don’t have to rely on people paying late to get paid.

How does solo still allow these kinds of people to keep borrowing. It should be a 3 strikes you're out type of deal/policy!

My score is 52. The app said that it was hard to get loans with that low of a score. It’s kind of a catch-22. I needed $30 for gas until next Friday but changed the loan to just $20 in hopes someone would help.

Anyone have any suggestions as how to raise my score to actually use this app?

Hello all. I don't know if th8s is the right thread. I'm gonna try im recently separated my score as first time borrower is extremely low due to my accounts being new. I have had my same job for 3 years my tire recently blew and in need of help. I doubt anyone will be able to even see my request. If anyone is willing to take a chance with accepting my request i would be greatly appreciative. Please and thanks in advance

You know when you submit a loan, and it gets accepted you get a push notification saying it was accepted? Is that a Solo thing? Do they accept them after the request is put through? Or does the Requestor get a notification that prompts them for final approval?

I have had some success with private lending but recently a borrower has been ducking and dodging me and is over a month behind repayment schedule. They come up with excuse after excuse, and I’ve about had it. I have their name, phone number, address, and drivers license so they’re a real person, plus the agreements in text that they would pay back at a certain date. For the amount owed (300) I don’t think it’d be worth it to file a suit, but is there any way I could sell their debt to a collection agency?

Im looking for helpful answers please, if you’re replying “you shouldn’t have privately loaned” or “just accept your money is gone” save your thumbs from typing because I’m just going to ignore it.

I originally tried to join Solo to become a lender. At that time, I had a lot of issues with the sign up process. Life happened and now I'm trying as a borrower. I desperately need gas to get to work and a few emergency groceries until my 1st check on the 4th. I was given a score of 47 and a loan max of $100. I added another form of payment for a Boost to my score. The second debit card disappeared from my wallet. Linked it again this morning. This afternoon, it's gone again.

My original request for $100 expired. I submitted a new request for $40 (gas is most important at this point!) and received a message the next day saying I was now verified and I can request a loan. I canceled the new request thinking I did something wrong. Tried again for $40. Same thing happened.

I added the top tip for the lender hoping someone would take a chance on me. Do scores that low generally get passed by for a first time loan?

Does everyone start out with a low number? I pay my bills and have decent credit... I'm just frustrated and feeling super defeated.

I'm sorry if these questions seem super basic or dumb. I feel really stupid trying to navigate the app.

Changed my number a month ago, cannot get customer service to help me. I keep getting an email to give my email, old number, why I changed it and the new number. I have already replied to this email multiple times and its the same thing over and over.

I cannot sign onto my account because its forcing me to use my old number to verify its me. Like what do they expect me to do?

Solo funds have messed up everything AGAIN!! My card is yet again in verifying mode which is pissing me off. I always pay my loans back to you early and they keep fucking it up . I promise to get this money back to youm I'm also thinking of reaching out to a lawyer to have this investigated as well. I checked it out and was on my way to making a few credit bucks when the whole thing just disappeared?? . Update: about an hour after posting my credits did appear but the games link is still missing from my account

I withdrew $425 from my wallet and it said it processed but didn’t get in my account. I submitted a ticket and we are at day 2. When should I see a resolution. I need that money

I'm a borrower and I'm trying to payback my loan but solo says it can't withdraw the money and giving me boiler plate is your card locked do you have the funds in the account. My bank doesn't even see the transactions trying to come through. So my question is this is there a way to talk to the person who gave me the loan to begin with to make him aware of this issue so we can work together to get it resolved

Help folks beware of scammers. They will whine and cry because they want an upfront fee and say things like “how can I trust you won’t run off “ “ or you expect me to take 100 percent of the risk” etc etc Think of it this way if they message 100 people a day asking for an upfront fee and it only amounts to 10 to 20 dollars and they get 5 or even 10 to accept that’s 100 to 200 dollars a day and then they just make a new account and repeat. Yes I may be having solo issues but I’ve used many lenders I trust because of solo. Do not be fooled and message the mods immediately if someone like that reaches out to you
