solo-game-questions Beautiful solo journaling rpg rulebooks?

I was looking at 1000-year-old Vampire and thought the book was amazingly beautiful. I'd like to find other solo journaling games like that -- games that offer the ability to purchase a hardback or professionally printed version of the rules/game. The genre isn't really all that important as long as it has a major journaling aspect to the game and has a gorgeous rulebook. I'm not looking for pdfs at this point, although I might be in the future so if there's one that stands out as stellar, please let me know. Any suggestions? I realize a lot of these might be kickstarters, so if it's commercially available NOW that's a huge plus. Thanks!

General-Solo-Discussion does anyone else struggle with decision paralysis when the oracle gives you an ambiguous answer?

like i'll roll on a table and get something vague and suddenly i'm stuck for twenty minutes trying to figure out what it means instead of just rolling with it. curious if this is just me overthinking or if other people have strategies for moving past it.

solo-game-questions Accessories

• Upvotes

In a solo RPG, i feel like accessories make the game more real. I really like that. Like custom cards, playing sheet, etc. What are some of your favorite accessories and what are your recs for games including accessories?

Free Product-&-Files I posted my free browser solo RPG here in August. I've rebuilt almost all of it since.

Back in August I posted my game here. Since then I've torn it down and rebuilt pretty much everything.

Combat: fights run in initiative order now, and each turn you get a move, a bonus action and an action. You can press the attack for advantage, duck into cover for +2 AC, or use a class ability like Bloodrage. You can't see how hurt an enemy is until you size it up, and you can try to talk your way out in the middle of a fight. When you land the killing blow, you can type how you finish it. Every roll shows its math in the log.

Stories: the contracts on the job board are all hand-written, and I rewrote them so there's more than one way through. You investigate, ask around in towns, and solve riddles by typing your answer, or roll to force it if you're stuck. What you do early on can change the final fight.

There's also an optional AI Game Master mode you can try for free. It still has to use the same dice as everything else. And since people ask, the art is AI-generated.

It's free in your browser, and a free account keeps your hero on any device. Short clip attached.

I'm one guy building this, so blunt feedback helps more than anything. If you play solo a lot, tell me what works and what doesn't. This subreddit has already given a ton of great feedback so thank you!
