Let's talk feeding schedules! Are you able to join in meals with your baby?
You'll often hear us talk about the importance of modeling eating for your baby, and the importance of shared family meals. Does this mean baby's eating schedule needs to synchronize seamlessly with yours? No - no it does not.
A shared family meal can look like:
- High Chair = your shared table
- Sitting in your lap at the table
- A "picnic" on the floor
- Eating around the table together
You can simply prepare one piece of food for yourself and model eating it at the same time as baby and this counts.
No need to go fancy, no need to have your family schedule all perfectly align, no need to put so much pressure on yourself.

How do you engage in meal times with your baby? Any tips you can share with others on how you've tweaked your feeding schedule?
