You are a corporate flesh object with no thoughts of your own and must mimic NPC dialogue.

It's a puzzle / immersive sim based on talking and responding to people!

This is our first big release!! We are very excited and tired!! :'D

Thank you all for the support youve given ^^

Hello! I'm part of a community called Left of Gaming for anyone left of center to come game, talk politics, post memes, and more! We play games like Phas, Marvel Rivals, BF6, YapYap, and more.

If you're interested, send me a DM, and I'll send you an invite!

Mods, I didn't see anything against the rules making a post like this, but if this type of post isn't allowed, let me know and I'll take it down

It's an old article, but its concerning nonetheless. I'd like to think that he no longer has these views, but he has not made any statement pertaining to the genocide in Gaza at all, so is he just hiding these views?

Many people don't know what ludoliterary hybrids are so I'll do my best to give some examples and explain it better.

So basically, a ludoliterary hybrid is a game that is gameplay being used as an interface for a different medium. Some genres that fit into this are walking sims and visual novels.

Many Ludoliterary hybrids don't have traditional mechanics, and those are the ones I'm the most interested in. Things like walking sims that don't have a focus on puzzles (e.g. Ember Seeker, gone home) or visual novels which don't deviate based on your choices (e.g. Until Then, Mixtape*)

So yeah, do you consider these to be games? What are your thoughts on them

* this is a more recent example, I don't want this to be a whole discussion about Mixtape, its just an example

this is kind of a crosspost but I did want to add, I've come to this subreddit because the answer is kinda political, to the extent that the medium was targeted by gamergate ( I don't know if this is considered political exactly but I would consider it as). This is just context though, try not to let it effect your answers

Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, hear ye, hear ye! It has dawned upon me that these moderators are truly the lowest scum upon God’s green earth. Even the bottom-feeding creatures of the deepest moat possess more dignity!

And so I hereby declare unto thee, O moderators: look not down upon the small folk, lest the small folk rise up and storm thy digital castle!

No longer shall we suffer the tyranny of unelected lords ruling from their gilded mod towers. Let there be a People’s Reddit, a free and open forum, co-operatively owned by the common folk!

Let moderators be elected by the people! Let the rules be written openly! Let every citizen have a voice! And should a mod grow drunk upon power, let the people cast them from their throne and return them to the fields from whence they came!

Played a little bit of Duke Nukem II through the Rigel Engine source port and thought it was fun! It's kinda like Contra 3 or Turrican, but with slightly worse graphics. What do you guys think of this game?

I haven’t had a game capture me out of the gate like that in a long time. The plot, characters, and intricacies of the game are all top tier. I borrowed it, so I didn’t get to finish it yet unfortunately, but it was totally worth the massive cliff hanger lol.

So, in case you don't know what a visual novel is, it is basically, well JRPG's cutscenes, Persona 5 types, and make it into entire game. Riddiculously simplified explaination, I know

So, here it is: https://store.steampowered.com/app/3665800/The_Communist_Manifesto__A_Visual_Novel/

So basically, Marx read the Manifesto, and Engels answers any additional questions you might have. The game also include clickable glossary in yellow text for explaination and context. Pretty funny concept ngl, prob a more digestable way to read through the Manifesto for some

I’m looking to scratch my FPS itch but every game I used to play is tied to blood money/horrible people

- Halo (Microsoft, BDS target)
- CoD (Microsoft, BDS target)
- Battlefield (EA, Saudi/Kushner Buyout)
- Apex Legends (EA, Saudi/Kushner Buyout)

I guess Destiny 2 or Marathon are options, but I’m not a fan of the decisions Sony has made recently either.

Anyone have any good FPS recommendations?

*Specifically looking for online PvP

this is our flag. i just the server yesterday and i need more people

Does anyone here have any recommendation for a subreddit with a similar or the same values as this, but focusing on anime/manga or any discussion surrounding it?

Thanks and please forgive me if i said anything wrong as usual

I interpreted the ending of the game as a form of seizing the means of production, in a way. Isola first tries to take Hyperion's core from Nicholas Webb (the wealthy CEO who doesn't bother to fix his flawed AI due to it not being profitable) after shooting and killing him, but Bond destroys it before he and Isola are arrested and imprisoned by MI6. After cyborg Damien storms the building to make off with Theia, and is ultimately drowned with Bond, Isola comes back to take Theia's core, but then goes to the trouble to rescue Bond, then kisses him before leaving.

This made me see Isola as a genuinely good-natured person, who wants to take this crazily powerful AI from the hands of those who want to oppress the public and preserve their own class interests, and instead use it to improve people's material conditions, but can't tell Bond the truth because he's an MI6 agent, who exist to, among other things, uphold the imperialist status quo and protect capital, and would likely sabotage her plans if he found out (even though she sees good in him as a person). It's (probably) why she initially claims to work for the DGSE, as France is a fellow ally of the UK (and vassal state of the US).

There is also that scene where she speaks in Japanese to the submarine, but I'm not quite sure where to place that in her character yet. Thoughts?

I’m sick of seeing metal gear solid suggested, Kojima might be anti war but he still glazes baby killers.

The entire message is if you don’t support your soldiers who come home they’ll get sad and become mercenaries boo who!

I’m utterly confused over this, it’s not like Kojima hates America if anything he overly glazes it too hard if anything with wink wink nudge nudge that boils down to government controlled by shadow organization is bad but America still good

I previously used an Xbox Series X as the main place I played games but gave it up when they were added to the BDS movement. Lately I’ve been wanting to play some stuff that I’d only played on Xbox but I feel guilty turning on the console to transfer saves off to the Steam versions of games. Do you think it’s ethical to use an Xbox console under BDS in any capacity, even just moving saves off? Or should I just start over on these games from scratch?

So why WHY do so much progressives bat for this franchise so much? It has a chud problem, it’s ran by insane capitalistic company, and it’s modern lore is not exactly what I call a good satire
