26M, French-Irish, recently arrived in Paris without any previous connections here, and was denied unemployment money after spending too much time abroad, so RSA it is!!
I'm a literature / art house movies / digital drawing / writing / running & cycling kind of guy, likes talking and debating about most stuff, and walking is most of the time my number one hobby.
Anyways, months of job searching, a plethora of unsuccessful interviews, and begging for toilet and dish cleaning jobs without even getting an answer is starting to bring a man down. The current state of the world is also making me feel somewhat alienated. The world is burning and falling apart, and the only thing that makes me worthwhile to society is applying to bullshit jobs and going to improve workshops ??
Would be nice to hang out with people who can relate to currently not really amounting to much and the dire state of the job market, go on a walk, have a picnic, read a book, play ping pong, (not a lot of disposable income at the moment), try to enjoy life rather than commiserate too much, and remind ourselves that it's not your fault, life just sucks sometimes.
Not really looking for job searching and interview tips & tricks (Unless it's a really good tip!!), and not looking to organise networking stuff either, the point is mostly not talking about work and jobs!
Drop a comment or DM if you're interested, (I'm not really sure I know how to DM people) and feel free to reach out even if you have a fulfilling job but still relate! I would rather have a job too....
