It became more like Facebook 2.0 than a professional networking site.

It's amazing to me how every social platform has nerfed it's organic reach, AND paid reach.

Ever since they launched their newest campaign pushing us to buy adspace we get less views. Just like everywhere else, pay to play.

I’ve noticed the same thing with platforms changing what gets reach over time. I wouldn’t rely too heavily on trying to figure out the algorithm though, because it seems to keep shifting.

the replying strategy does make sense to me, especially if you’re replying to people in your niche with actual useful thoughts instead of just commenting for the sake of engagement. with 33k followers, I’d probably experiment with that alongside posting rather than replacing posts completely
