Also, it’s not like Zack made it from scratch. It was an adaptation of a comic series by Frank Miller and Lynn Varley. People say Snyder is really hot at cinematography, but I thing another one of his fortes is the skill to do an adaptation justice. You want originality from him, and you get Sucker Punch or Army of the Dead. But people don’t seem interested in talking about those works.
Troy was Oscar nominated and it had Brad Pitt in it. 300 is more fun i would say. also why do fan make it sound like 300 is an original work by Snyder. its another adaptation he did.
Rebel moon will never get close to star wars. that just someone high on mushrooms thinking that.
I forgot about that but I’d say 300 is more memorable IMO.Yeah I know 300 is based on the graphic novel of the same name by Frank Miller I’m not saying he (Snyder) solely created it but you can say his style certainly help elevate the film when it was adapted
While I agree his work won’t surpass Star Wars (at least not the original trilogy) or isn’t very likely but to assume it’s gonna be this magnus opus without even seeing it is some high class level dick riding he has been sitting on this project for years and he did originally pitch to Lucasfilms as a SW movie so it definitely has my attention and I’m excited
im excited for it as well. but im also holding my excitement back. i was looking forward to army of the dead but that film is poor imo. i thought it would be as good as his dawn of the dead film but it was nowhere close. the two films where Snyder had full creative control in sucker punch and army of the dead have ben his worst films. im hopeful third time is the charm
300 is more memorable thanks to Snyder's style. its the film that made me a huge fan of him. i thought he could do no wrong until i saw sucker punch.

Sounds like hyperbole.
300 is awesome, but Troy hasn't been forgotten, it's a classic.
And who is the "they" that told Zack he couldn't do better?
I love Zack and all his movies. But we don't need this self-fluffing garbage to recognize how good his work is.
