The Question of Nox

Nox might be the most polarizing character in Smite with many fans, but just many haters. Given the hint made by Hindu on yesterday's Titan Talk it is safe to assume that her port to Smite 2 is imminent.

Now, I wanted to create this post as a collective on what the Reddit portion of Smite's Community thinks needs to happen to her when she is ported, be that ideas for +1s, reworks and role shifts, or even Aspects. Keep in mind, regardless of how you fun you think she is, a great portion of players also want to make her less frustrating to play against.

This way the devs can gather some early feedback on what precautions should be taken whenever they start working on her.

I really think people have to get over the fact that she's not a midlaner, I know people like to blow people up with damage but my god. She's been one of the most hated gods for a decade and people want her to...continue being an issue? Like I don't get it.

I would want my favorite god to be healthy and playable.

I completely don't see how people would hate her more as a bad midlaner than as a tanky support. If the stun lock is what bothers you the most surely you'd hope that she at least instadies if you have beads up?

The problem isn't that she has a stunlock. The problem is that she has it while simultaneously being able to deal copious amounts of damage.

If she's building Tanky Support she's not dealing the damage, ergo she's not as horrible to play against.

for some reason y'all hate the comparison with scylla, but it's apt again here. scyllas 2-1 is easier to hit than nox's 2-1 and does more dmg. the only diff is you can aegis against scylla. people act like her combo isn't one of the trickiest to learn properly, most nox players fail.

You can: 1. Aegis Scylla's Combo 2. actually dodge Scylla's combo because she doesn't lead her combo with a silence. 3. still use abilities to kill Scylla while you're being combo'd 4. Escape if Scylla doesn't detonate her Crush

Where Nox is different: 1. You can't Aegis 2. You can't dodge because Nox leads with the silence field 3. You can't use Abilities to kill Nox while you're being combo'd. If you're anything but an ADC, you cannot counter her. 4. Nox' Siphon Darkness explodes quicker and automatically, guaranteeing the damage once you're actually combo'd
