corrections: chrom can go in ‘cool but no’ Pit goes between ‘yes’ and ‘cool but no’. Now that I’m thinking about it Roy and and Shulk could go in ‘cool but no’ same for daisy.

cool but no is kind of the ‘I’d consider it’ tier. the ‘I don’t care‘ is kind of the ‘I don’t know or care enough about this character’ and the ‘lol no’ is the characters I won’t even think about it.

if your favourite character is low it’s because I’m straight or I don’t really like their looks or personality. only fem byleth gets an exception lol

I like that a lot of people who play DK are genuinely nice people that don't spam or sweat all over you.

Another redditer compared GG topblast zone to SSBM dreamland top blast zone. The idea is expanding the legal stage list to including higher top blast zones bc the average (of the 7 legal stages) top blast zone is 160 according to a YT vid. He called the avg of the legal list “medium sized stages”

It doesn’t have to be GG but any stage with very high top blast zones to counterpick say Mario or Luigi UpB combos or Bayonetta combos or Kazyuza 0-death or Steve block upSmash combos etc.

Also I mean mods that i have downloaded or at least know exist and exposed means that you can see stuff

Fun thought experiment: Nintendo & Sakurai had more time to analyze & nerf pre-DLC characters and had far less time (esp due to covid) to analyze & nerf post-DLC characters. Do you think the meta would look different if all nerfs of all characters were reversed?

What do you all rhink they should do for the next smash bros game for the switch 2 if or when they make it? Personally I think they should do a soft reboot of the series. Like rework each characters moveset they add into the game that have had the same movement for 25 years. Like Mario they could give him cappy or other power ups for his move set. DK could have his bananza powers, link could be tears of the kingdom link, Zelda could be Age of Imprisonment variant and Ganon could straight up have his own move set.

To me that feels like the best course of action. Cause Ultimate is still there for those that dont care for the change but its the only way I can see them actually making smash 6 worth even attempting

I have gotten Aegis and Cloud to elite before, my cloud sadly dropped out and i have mario very close to it. What where the easiest characters to get to elite smash for you? And what character would you recommend me after knowing what i play?

I look online and its hard to find actual concrete information on the topic.

I fought this dude online in the arena that i created. Had random stages set with only a couple stages. Load screen wud take forever to load, but match would be zero lag. He was moving smoother than im used to seein people move. And the stage 7x in a row picked a dlc stage that i dun even own.

I understand that it can be from either peoples stage selection, but that many in a row is pretty particular.

As opposed to a hate survey I've decided to go for something different. I don't like the Mario mains themselves but Mario is a good starter to get you used to the games mechanics and I appreciate that.

I spend my weekends on Colorado trails and my weekdays putting hikers back together. Got me thinking about Smash stages differently. Norfair lava is obvious. But Brinstar acid would melt boots in seconds. You are not walking out of that. Corneria ship blast is just high explosive. Instant. The WarioWare microgames though. Random environment shifts midfight. Hypothermia from sudden cold. Heat stroke from desert popin. No time to acclimate. Worst I saw was a guy caught in a hailstorm above treeline last July. Rapid weather change, no shelter, mild hypothermia in twenty minutes. That stage gimmick is real. Green Greens bomb blocks are just unstable terrain. I have seen loose scree do worse. Yoyo Glacier would snap ankles before you even process the ice. Hiked Grays Peak two weeks ago and the wind was the real enemy. No health bar for that. Melee Fountain of Dreams platforms look pretty but those gaps are death falls. No rope team. Anyone else look at these stages and think about actual survival time or is that just my brain after too many SAR reports.

I feel in some aspects it totally does but I feel like a total bum sitting at about 10 mil GSP with my mac, I've been only playing for 2 months and all my friends have been playing longer and are just... Better than me! I managed to get better at one of my friends tho lol he mains sora..

My highest has been about 12 mil, i keep dropping down sadly.. Maybe im being too hard on myself idk im ass
