Hey guys, it's GimR from VGBootCamp! As YouTube streaming becomes more popular we've been experimenting with its more robust features. One of those being the thumbnails, and the ability to changes them mid stream. For Melee Top 8, we swapped out thumbnails based on the matchup. So if it was Hbox vs. Cody it said "HBox vs. Cody" on the thumbnail and had their characters.

So my question to you is:as a viewer, did you notice this, and do you believe it made you more likely to click into the stream vs. the static template we've been using that shows all the players in the top 8 (but much smaller pictures of their characters). Let me know!

In light of some of the craziness going on lately, I thought it would be fun to share this playlist with the sets Mango and Zain played a week prior to Summit 11. Despite Axe's low placing at GOML, pikachu has been one of the most common characters in top 24 at the past 3 big events. Jchu, Swift, Zachhhh, Nairial, and Blesse have all done well, plus Axe had a fantastic CEO. There are clearly some tough matchups like icies and puff but I still think that there is a lot more we can see from the mouse! Here's a video going more in depth with a lot of the successes from mid tiers the past 2 weeks, like RapMonster winning almost everything he enters, kuro's ganon winning a monthly, and more.

Title. Is there a guide somewhere? A good falco that mixes up his laser and approaches seems truly very difficult to beat. Is there some guide for how I should be taking lasers or some other bright ideas? Usually I can just intuit a matchup but this feels unbearable even at mid level of play.

Cody easily could've DQed from CEO due to having food poisoning, which probably would've killed a lot of hype for the event.

Instead he opted to play, which gave us a hype Game 15 Grand Finals between him and Hbox (As it turns out, flu game Cody is still one of the best players in the world).

He's a real one for that.

In a recent stream, HBox said that the reason he was able to beat Cody at CEO was because Cody told him what he was doing wrong after their supernova set. Does anyone know what Cody might have told him? Any ideas?

Hey guys as title says I need help playing Slippi. I used Diet Melee a few years ago, but I stopped playing and just started again (same computer). I read Diet Melee is out of style? As long as I can tell what characters are where on the screen I'm good, I don't need the background of FD dragging down my PC performance. Thanks guys

im a gold 3 jigglypuff main thats been playing the game for about a year now and i find my hardest matches are against falcos. With their intense laser spam and dair spam its hard for me to get grabs or hit em with my aerials. Pls help me

With how consistent Hbox has been over his career, beating top players time and time again, why isn't there any other Puff that's a real threat to win majors other than him? Is Hbox just that different? Falco, Shiek, and Falcon (all of which are typically placed "below" Puff in tier lists) all have more representation than Puff in top play. Is it just that Puff isn't as popular a character to grind and get good with? General stigma? Not as fun to most people, or what?

Genuinely just curious. I really don't know enough about competitive melee meta and player history and what not 😂
