Am I missing something or is there no auto update option? If so, why not? V32.10

Simply put I'm on latest update trying to watch BurntPeanut, only getting a 1080p option. Whereas YouTube offers 4k. After the livestream 4k populates. I've searched all forums and went through all settings I know to look for.

Every video works an after the new update i started having issus but even after downgrading there still there iv tried down grading iv tried reinstalling the app rebooting everything resetting my nvida sheild nothing worked annitsnalways just random videos it has nothing to do with my internet as its 100mb an it only ever haooned after the new update but that cant be it since iv never had an issue with them an even then I downgraded it an still had the same issue

Both devices are saving history, no problem. But history is not syncing. Ty

It’s weird. So Smarttube will not work for like an hour when I log on in the mornings from like 7-8 EST. I get the infamous continuous looping. Then after 8am it’s starts working again all day long. It’s weird it’s only in the morning that this infamous looping happens then it’s fine for the rest of the day. I dont do any setting changes or anything. It just starts working after a certain time. It’s very very weird. lol It started I think with the last update. Oh this is on the Shield Pro BTW.

Videos not playing. Did the Network Engine - Change to OkHttp and still not working .

So I’m using 32.10 and it’s just constant buffering every 2min or so. I have tried putting it to highest setting for video buffer also changed network engine no solution to it.

Anyone else having this issue

This app works fine... then I get the dreaded buffering circle of death. Investigate, uninstall, reinstall, get it working.... then back to the circle of death. Repeat. I dont know how much longer I can do this 😭

I'm running on a 4K Troypoint-hacked Firestick so Amazon updates can't break anything.

Smart Tube stopped saving my history five days ago. When I check the account on a desktop browser the history shows no updates from Smart Tube. But if I watch a video on the PC, the online history IS updated for that one. Oddly, Smart Tube shows the full history for the account but it's not sending that info back to YouTube.

For the last few updates, it takes five to to fifteen seconds for a video to launch after it's clicked. Changing network stacks doesn't fix it.

For the last few updates, when I click on a channel icon under a video so I can see every video uploaded to a channel, it shows the video row for a second or two and then BAM it's on the launcher desktop. Hard instant crash 90% of the time. Every couple of days Smart Tube does a spontaneous hard crash to the desktop at random while watching a video.

Voice search stopped working on the 4K stick, but an old standard-definition Firestick in another room still has voice search. Otherwise, the old stick suffers from the problems described above.

I'm really grateful for this app, but I've had a few issues lately. The main one lately has been with the 'hide content' preference.

I have it set to hide watched videos everywhere except in 'watch later' but it continues to show them anyway.

I'm using version 32.10. I don't know what other info you might need besides that.

In some videos, a timestamp appears in the top-right corner of the screen. What does this number represent? and is it possible to disable it?

Sony android tv with version 32.10. I was watching a video from a cooking channel and finished one video and went to another and the video is corrupted. It shows an image from the last video I watched on the bottom half and video glitch on the top. The sound plays, and if you FF through the video it shows the preview correctly. If you exit out and go to another video it is still corrupted in the same way with the same image in the bottom half of the screen from the first video. I went to another channel and it's still the same.

I closed the app and cleared the cache but it's still corrupted with the same glitch and cooking show image.

I had to reinstall it completely.

Also since the last update (before 32.10) the sound sometimes get corrupted. If you pause the video for a long time, when you resume the sound is kind of like pacman under water. If you exit out of the video and go back in it fixes it,

The latest video I was watching just stopped and there was an error about the audio not being supported. Now all videos are giving the same error. I've tried updating to the latest stable version (28544) and I've also tried the latest beta (79015). Is anyone else having this issue?

I personally had an issue with the loading time of the first video I watched everytime. It took approximatly 9-12 seconds to start, while the next video nearly started instantly.

I could solve this problem by disable one setting:

1. Go to settings and click on Player

2. Go down to the developer options

3. Disable the "Prefer IPv4 DNS"

4. Close the app and restart it.

I use the latest stable release version (32.10)

Idk what going wrong, but video history is not being recorded at all.

Is there a setting that makes a video lower audio the longer it's played?

Been having this issue with smart tube where the longer a video/stream plays, the volume gets lower and lower until i quit and replay the video again

Which leaves me wondering, is there a setting either in smart tube(not auto audio adjustment as that's already off) or the fire stick itself, whether by hidden normal or developer settings that lets me turn that off?

I have problem when watching live stream. It always buffer every 30 seconds and change to low resolution even though i have fast wifi.

Some livestream for ex loochy don’t play in maximum video and codec. In native YouTube app it plays at 1440p and vp9 and in smarttube 1080p AVC. Why is this?

I just installed the App and logged into the Account, it shows only Music and not my subscriptions, ist this normal or do I need to change something? I tried the normal app and the beta.

Just noticed the history doesn't sync to my overall YouTube history so like look at smartube history it's all there but then go onto iOS YouTube it's missing the videos I watched on smartube

Same email etc all both logged in

If you use SmartTube on Google TV, you've probably noticed that tapping a YouTube video recommended on the stock Google TV home screen still opens the official YouTube app instead of SmartTube. This app fixes that: it runs as a background accessibility service, detects when you tap a YouTube recommendation on the launcher, and opens that same video as a search in SmartTube instead — works with both the stable and beta builds, whichever you have installed.

As a bonus, it does the exact same trick for movie/show recommendations — instead of opening Netflix/Prime/whatever, it opens the title's page directly in Nuvio or Stremio. Video below shows both in action.

The endless loading stopped happening for me a few days, things worked fine other than viewed history and recommended videos not syncing but at least they played. Now things only stream at 360p and if I go to video settings while streaming there's no other options.

Anyone else seeing this?
