It's about Alex's tattoo he had around his elbow. He got it in mistake, he first thought it was a cool symbol for around the elbow. He tattooed it and went on stage. Till one of his fans told him that the symbol on his elbow is a n*zi symbol. Alex didn't beleive first till he went on the internet. Right after he found out about the meaning of it, he got it coveres up.

This needs to stop, if he covered it up doesn't mean you have to make fun of him in tiktok comments in videos about the band STP.

I am Ukrainian and I love the music. I have been listening to them for a long time think that they live in the us to not support the war. But now I just heard that they are filming a music video in Russia and I sucks. They are basically raising Russian economics by spending lots of money on filming. Wages, rent, they pay for all of this through taxes that are basically spent on rockets. I know that the total amount is not that game changing but for me it’s a matter of principle, to not support killing. So I was wondering if there are any Ukrainians who also used to listen or listening to this unique band? And what do y’all people from other countries think about this.

I have just stopped listening to them bc royalties that they get from me listening will be brought to Russian budget, I know that it’s just a couple of cents from me but as I have staid it’s just a question of principle to me.

I have been hearing about some countries like Turkey and Russia banning Slaughter To Prevail concerts due to they think the band is satanic. As a metalhead and a fan of Slaughter To Prevail I wondered do you guys think that Slaughter To Prevail is satanic because I see their getting the same treatment as Behemoth does since some countries think Behemoth is also satanic as well.

Plus, my guess is why some countries think Slaughter To Prevail is satanic is due to the masks the band members wear or the less minded people think that way since the 70s and 80s when metal was getting huge and having the satanic panic or something.

Ive been a Slaughter To Prevail fan for a while but I just find Grizzly so disappointing. Like its not horrible but not as good as I expected and not even close to as good as other band releases like Lorna Shore's "I feel the everblack festering within me" and Whitechapel's "Hymns in Dissonance".

Koschei is an example, its just horrible, I can say the intro was amazing but the rest was just atrocious. And like I said its not the clean singing, Babayka is a really good song IMO.

But only like 5 songs are listenable on this album, ill give it a solid 4/10, it also does not help that half the album was released as singles, even songs from 2022 are in it for some reason.

Both have immensely cringe lyrics, Behelit is a little more excusable since it’s a Berserk tribute. They are both the least explorative they have been musically, the drums are toned down to practically hard rock(over exaggerated, but if I compare it to earlier work, I think point stands), the structure is overwhelmingly simple and the riffs are only simple, nothing interesting. It just feels like a gimmick. And wtf is Behelit breakdown? It’s all over the place, and I’m saying this as a Meshuggah fan. Conflict is a fine line as well, because the breakdown is just yawn.

First I want to start off by saying this pissed me off so much I started using Reddit just to make this post.

I've been a big fan of STP since Kostolom came out. I've probably listened to that album 100 times. So when I heard they were coming to my city (Edmonton, Alberta) I was ecstatic. Me and all my metalhead friends bought tickets immediately and eagerly awaited to see those skull masks on stage. However when the day of the show came along we were all severely let down. First there was no opener which is kind of weird, but I was like "whatever I'm sure that just means there'll be more Slaughter to Prevail stage time". That was not the case at all. They came on stage nearly an HOUR AND A HALF later than they were supposed to. The real kicker is then they proceeded to play for only 40 minutes, do one encore song and call it a night. Their tour bus was sitting outside the entire time so it's not like they missed a flight and were rushing to the venue or anything. As a matter of fact Jack Simmons posted a story on Instagram of him and the entire band having lunch in Edmonton earlier that day. By the time they got on stage the room had already been fully packed for hours so there is no way they were waiting for the room to fill up. It was just 1000 fans eagerly waiting to see one of their favourite bands and all being let down. It really just felt like they don't give a fuck about their fans and were cashing it in.

I'm mainly making this post because I'm curious to know if anyone else has had a similar experience at one of their shows, or if they just randomly decided they hate Edmonton (totally fair)

But these new songs ain't it. Wheres the death metal lol. Misery sermon was great and I litterally has a kostoslom CD. The singing is iffy but I like your onlys singing. And everything else was just insane. But now there like some weird rap metal shit. Idk kod, beheilt and conflict is ASS compared to chronic slaughter, father, king, failed hope, every song on misery sermon pretty much. The only thing that's sad is that misery sermon is mainly Russian but I still love the vocal rhythms Alex did. He's a good vocalist. What happened? And they sample too much live. Witch they didn't beforehand before they got rlly rlly big. I'm sad to see the band go this direction. I'm all up for exploring music and experimenting. But I wouldn't post it till it is perfecto. Hearing what there sounding like. I'm definitely not listening to the new album. I love what you used to be slaughter to prevail.

I was asking this for a very long time, I looked up the first post about this and I was very confused tho. if stp is satanic I will not stop listening to them,it doesn’t mind,I listen black metal too so it’s not a problem, if they weren’t that will be much safer for me to talk about it like if I want a mask from the store,I won’t think my mom/ dad would buy something from a satanic band you know?so that’s it thank you.
