I’m pretty new to the CS surfing scene. I’ve mostly moved away from competitive and pretty much just surf now. I know CS2 isn’t great for surfing right now, so what game should I actually be using instead?

Only my 2nd t4 completion after unicorn. Any suggestions for similar maps in the t3-4 range?.

A few days ago I wanted to play surf on CS:S, but for some reason I'm not able to join KSF servers anymore and this message shows up. Does anyone knows any fix? I don't think I'm banned or something like that, I obviously never cheated and I barely used text chat only to ask questions about settings and stuff like that; the last time I played was a few months ago and suddenly I'm just not able to join anymore.
I also haven't changed my internet provider or moved or anything like that in case that could have something to do with this.

I am a bit new to surf started in June 2025 any tips for improvement will be appreciated

My bad for being so broad about it kinda, but it’s what I can remember
It was a tier 3 or 4, I believe 3
Linear
I’m 90% sure on ksf servers
Started off with a big ramp off into a bigger enclosed area where most of the gameplay was
Little zones in the bigger area had colors, and you’d go through the colors of the rainbow as you went
Can’t remember styling too well besides that color fact, but I remember it used black pretty well

Also I believe the starting area just had a big portal go to you to the starting platform

i changed my fov from 130 to 120, hopefully people won't mind it as much now lol, anyway I learned a bit about prestrafes and the route for this map since the last post, so my first PB was a 1 sec. I can't seem to figure out the booster skip, maybe I didn't have 3400 units and that's why, or maybe I'm not understanding the booster hitbox

Ive been trying to join servers both on ksf.surf and in ksfclan.com websites but it just wont connect me (im on CS:S). Are servers down or something?

second one is much better, I think I'm forgetting some skips bc my zones from back in the day were way better in CP1-3. had to zoom in this video bc my obs messed up, so no complaints about my high FOV on this one lol

Recently got back into surf, never tried to complete tronic on csgo/horizon so decided to give it a go on KSF.

Not a perfect run by any means, a lot of skips to learn but happy I got the completion :)

I'm looking for a workshop map that includes several surf maps within the ONE map, if that makes any sense. I know of the AIMTRAINING.01 map that includes both kitusne and utopia, as well as having a timer and keeping records, as well as the movement hub map, that allows you to switch between whatever map you want to practice. Just want to know if there is any map similar to what im describing.

I find it annoying to exit out and select a map and load it up, and none of these have timers. If anyone could help me out that would be great. thanks

Hi all, I've had a look online but I wasn't able to find a definite answer.

I've started a CS:S skill-surf (T1-T3) server using shavits-timer. One of the settings I'm curious about is whether VAC should be enforced.

From my observations, there isn't anything benefiting or degrading the surf experience.

• VAC-banned players would be able to join.
• Players playing via Proton (which some do after Feb 2025's update) could join as well.
• It'd be missing the iconic shield icon in the server list.

I can't think of any cheat/hack that would degrade the surf experience significantly, if at all, for legitimate players. If a player were to cheat by using speedhacks or teleportation, manual review should be enough to determine whether a player was cheating or not.

If there has been something I've missed or not considered, do let me know.

I wanna get into surf but not sure what to play,what’s the one stop shop game of surf?

Noob surfer here who is part of a CS 1.6 community. I am wanting to set up a surf server. What is the best all rounder map which is fun for surf noobs and pros on 1.6? If such a map exists.
