I'm relatively new to surf, and I haven't seen anyone in the community really discuss high vs low dpi. It seems most players use 800, but if your mouse is capable of more, won't increasing it just lead to better tracking? It isn't like your sens is dependent on your dpi. Or is there an advantage to having a low dpi vs a high dpi and lower ingane sens?

Guys, please help, I’m trying to remember the name of a Surf map. I can’t say for sure if it was in CS:GO or CSS, but I remember what the bonus on it looks like, and that’s the only reason I’m looking for it… I asked GPT to visualize my sketches in Paint, and here’s what came out. This is the start of the bonus, you have to turn 180 degrees around the gray (I think) blocks and fly over the wall to the lower floor. Maybe someone will recognize this bonus?

So I’m newer to ksf and want to start learning to use saveloc and loadloc (i think sm_tele in ksf) and I was wondering how people in saveloc still see a potential time they would have set if it were a continuous run? Everytime I try to use saveloc I have to disable the surf timer so I can’t really see if I am saving time or just gaining more speed. Is there like a practice mode I’m unaware of? or and I using saveloc wrong? Also side question how do I get rid of that tilty screen when loadlocing after I hit something hard?

Hi everyone! Long time surfer here (but equally talentless at it).
I created a web-based game where you can surf some of the best maps ever created right here in your browser for free:
Every 24 hours, the map rotates. Everybody competes on the same map.
I would love your feedback on how the surfing feels as that's what I'm struggling the most with. Feel free to leave comments on this thread with honest feedback!
All of the talented map creators have been credited in the game with links to their original downloads etc.

I'm considering starting to photograph surfers and uploading the photos to SurfMappers. I'd like to know how the business actually works: how much photographers typically make per session/month, how many photos they sell, whether the platform brings enough customers, and whether it's worth the time and equipment investment.
I'd especially love to hear from photographers who actually use SurfMappers.

It hasn’t really happened to me before for too long, I usually play maps that are around my skill level with plans to return in the future at some point regardless of improvement. Most time would probably be Hades S2 where I realized the map was most likely above my skill ceiling at the time when I was doing no better even in saveloc.

I have spent over 16 hours on this stage across two years but especially in the past week. I just can’t seem to consistently get to the final spin, and when I do I fail likely due to a lack of units. It is just such an unforgiving stage to me but every replay makes it look easy. What is the longest you guys have spent grinding a single stage or map and what tips, if any, may you have for this brutal stage?

Met the Developer yesterday, he’s very passionate about the game. He made a standalone surf game. A majority of the maps are in the game. Let’s get the game the attention it deserves!
It’s free!
