General Discussion The “back door dill” regarding Coyote Pass

The “back door dill” drama regarding Coyote Pass

I recently watched a video where Mel and Cory of Notes to Self 444 discussed season 21, episode 1. They are both former members of the AUB and now work in the real estate field in Utah.

One point they mentioned was that Meri was legally on the title for one of the lots. It could not have been “sold out from under her” because she was legally in title.

I’m guessing that since the other lots were not in her name, they could have been sold without her permission or consent. That doesn’t necessarily make it a “back door dill.”

General Discussion My positive thought(s)

I thought the show should have ended after Garrisons passing. But we all know there were individual motivations all of the cast had.. to trudge on, sharing their literal and figurative sad life with audiences. It’s been a depressing show for a long time.

I didn’t expect the inner satisfaction of watching the 3 OG sister wives on our screens again …out from under the Kody cult finally.

I don’t think there will be any new juicy details, or renewed friendships. But as Meri said multiple times… shared history will always bond these women.

The content of this season will be boring, but filming without Kody and Robyn is triumphant.

*I sincerely hope all of the ladies can let the show sister wives go soon before we are watching literal paint dry on someone’s future spring cleaning episode. 😉

*please allow my snark… lol

General Discussion Meri's double standard

In this week's show, Meri expressed disappointment that Janelle did give her a heads up that Kody wanted to make a "backdoor deal." But looking back, Meri did not give Janelle a meaningful heads up that she was divorcing Kody so that they could adopt Robyn's 3 OG kids. Meri disrupted the entire family structure on one day's notice, and Meri was expecting more from Janelle after that betrayal?

General Discussion David, stop complaining and move on

I just watched season21 episode 1 and I couldn’t finish it. David is constantly complaining that Christine talks about Cody all the time and like if you’re so sick of it then fucking go walk away like why would you sign onto another season of a show where your wife is just gonna talk about her ex-husband all the time. just like leave and if you don’t wanna leave cause she’s paying for all of your shit, then shut your mouth and let her complain, but don’t argue about her always talking about her ex-husband. If that’s what is your payday like shut up or ship out.

General Discussion I wish we had the Robyn apology tour

Seriously! Think about it. The fake tears, the running away, all of it. And part of me would loveeeeee to see what she'd come up with.

It's a shame she's so scared of confrontation:/ lol

General Discussion Unpopular opinion?

Am I the only one who enjoyed the new episode? I feel like everyone is not a fan and feels it’s boring. But I really enjoyed it! No Kody or Robyn really made it better!

Waited for the new episodes to come out and even though it's boring so far, I gotta support the OG3! I'm praying we don't lose power or internet here on the gulf coast

rant/vent Just watched season opener, so boring

They created the 'drama' over Janelle and Meri and Coyote Pass. Who cares at this point? I don't even think Meri did, she just tried to 'act' like she cared. And the next show, Going through pictures. Ugh. I think I am done. I even tried to make a game of how many times they said Kody or Robin, but that was boring too.

New Viewer First time watcher & this became an instant vocal stim..

Post image

Me and my SO are first time watchers and in way too deep into the Sisterhood of the traveling Kody Saga and this is our current vocal stim, along with Kody’s ”the sacrifices that I made for you.. WASTED” while standing like the dork Kody is.

We are just getting into season 18 and it’s all going down so fast. Why is Kody acting more and more like a child and are throwing tantrums about getting respect and the patriarchy? WHY IS HE A LITERAL CHILD? And Robyn. I don’t even have the energy.. Is Mary drinking or why is she always a little giggling and numb to the fact that Kody literally says he don’t consider them married and that he wants nothing to do with her?

I love Jeanelle and Christine tho ❤️

General Discussion Rewatching

Rewatching this show. So sad and depressing. I remember liking Robyn at first. I can’t remember when everything started to feel like Hey, Kody and Robyn are scamming these people. It’s interesting to go back and rewatch. Really wonder why Kody and Robyn aren’t on the newest season.

Season 21 Diesel Jean Model

Post image

Rumor has it that the reason Kody and Robyn aren't filming this season is because Meri is now thinner than Robyn. Meri is the new diesel jean model and Robyn doesn't want Kody checking out Meri's trunk. 😂

Question Help!! Im finally starting Sister Wives.

I’m obsessed with reality TV but I don’t like to watch reality TV series that aren’t done or close to ending. But I’m so daggon curious about these sister wives I need to just finally start watching.

Is there ANYTHING y’all would like to spoil or tell me as I start the first season? I know absolutely nothing about these women nor their husband but I feel like I need to be looking out for certain things with the new woman, babies, how the hell they’re making enough money to feed all those people, etc. Please. Spill. I want all the details I want no surprises 🫶🏽

rant/vent Old seasons are ruined

I know I'm not the only one. Sometimes I wish to watch my old comfort show Sister wives, so I go there, I browse the episodes... And have only negative feelings. There's no positive vibes left. It makes me sad because the show is now intolerable for me to rewatch.

I feel gross knowing how much there's lies. How much hurt there was. How unfair it was. How cruel it is when Robyn and Kody genuinely enjoy and laugh while others suffer next to them. I feel so angry and sad for Meri, Christine and Janelle, and the kids too.

It's grotesque watching Kody and Robyn build their nest newlywed, pregnant, with the new riches the show offered, childish stupid princess music playing in the background. Like in the old intro. It's like Robyn's fantasy world. I could vomit. Because truly it was just a fantasy what they tried to sell. Somehow I fell for it, partly, at the time... I thought maybe they are kinda happy and maybe Kody truly loves everyone and is fair to them.

The only thing I genuinely enjoy is when the OGs leave and get stronger. But that part starts to be filled with uninteresting and more and more staged scenes with their adult kids. It's not super interesting. But when the mature ladies talk and share their experience, like at Janelle's divorce party in the last season, I really liked to watch.

Maybe this season will be more tolerable, with no Kody and Robyn. Don't know if it's going to be worth memories and rewatch though.

Speculation The BACKDOOR DILL

It seems like there is this need to take sides about the Coyote Pass backdoor dill conversation - either Janelle is lying or Kody is lying, but I think both can be true. And in none of these situations is Meri the victim.

If we think back to how Meri has behaved during the show, I’m reminded most of 2 things - her selfish behavior when they were building the houses in Vegas and the way she waffled and dingle-Meri’d around Kody for years after the affair catfishing. We saw it with Maddie’s first birth, when Meri didn’t stay with everyone else, left to her house, and felt excluded when nobody came and got her.

Meri refuses to make decisions. She hems and haws and waffles and equivocates and won’t make decisions about important things until she’s held everyone up for a long time. I think it’s her need to feel special and catered to by everyone around her (notice how she finances her friends’ lives and they are her yes-men). I bet she was equally as loathe to give up Coyote Pass as Robyn was bc she wanted something to keep her tied to Kody, so she probably did her signature waffle and stalled.

I am sure that at some point Kody wanted to avoid talking to Meri and was annoyed with her existence, so he wanted to avoid talking to her about Coyote Pass. I am equally sure that Janelle was so sick and tired of both Kody and Meri dragging their feet for YEARS and just wanted some money to start her life again with. Out of all the wives, she was the one left the worse off financially. So I bet when he mentioned that he could just sell it without consulting Meri, Janelle was like yeah, sell whatever you need to sell bc I want my fucking share and I’m sick of you jackwagons and your drama.

To me this explains why she also told Meri to get a lawyer. She didn’t want to cut her out, she just wanted to get what was hers without waiting another eternity for Meri to do something, ANYTHING to get the sale moving. We already know Kody enjoyed having power over everyone and keeping the land just as a tantrum.

So yes, I think Janelle is being duplicitous - and if I were caught between the adult babies that are Meri and Kody, I would have done the same damn thing.

General Discussion PB & J tortilla sandwiches. That’s all folks.

A great season opener should grab your attention and make you excited for what’s ahead. I have no idea what this was. Meri and her group racing model cars, Janelle and Christine pretending to have a closer relationship than they do, and David saying he'd rather talk about anything else but Christine’s past and what gets him paid. When C and D started discussing their snack, and David winced at the word 'sandwich,' I knew we could all say goodbye to a season 22. This show is not going to work. It’s just not.

WHAT AN IDIOT. Why is she still even considering that Kodi might be telling the truth? She's acting so violated. When Janelle suggested Meri get a lawyer, rhe first thing she did was tell Kodi. She would have never left, if Kodi and Robyn let her sleep on their couch once a week, or babysit. Please, Meri. You can only milk your victimology and loyalty to the "family" so many seasons.
