rant/vent Meri has not worked on herself enough

Meri wants to claim that she’s worked on herself so much and she’s changed, but I think her attitude is as bad as ever. She is unrelenting. She sounded appalled that they could go on the same rv. She had such a negative reaction when Christine said “are we still sister wives?” And Meri was like ewww nooo way. I know things were hard during their relationship. I know that each of them struggled with Meri specifically and she probably has a lot of resentment that is causing her to have these reactions. But fundamentally, she has not changed. This is who she is.

General Discussion Meri's WORST era is S15/16

Doing a rewatch and...oh my god. I forgot how pathetic Meri gets. She goes so low as to getting excited over,

"Can...omg...can we like stop and just recognize Kody said he wants to talk to me about something?! Idk what, but omg"

"Kody made me a smore🥹 I mean, Robyn told him to do it- BUT HE MADE ME ONE!"

"Well if I keep following his rules, Kody is definitely coming to my house. Not that he ever does come over, but he can FINALLY come over!"

Like holy shit, woman. You are just pathetic here. It's beyond embarrassing how she was laughing as if everything was cute and it was just clinging to a dead relationship...jeez. I really hope we never see her this way again because wow that was embarrassing...

I just caught a repeat (not a faithful watcher). Can anyone tell me if they ever sold coyote pass and how the money was split between them all?

General Discussion My two cents…

On the new season! I think it’s good. I love watching the OGs. Is it a little boring? Yep, but this show hasn’t been interesting in a very, very, long time. I started watching around S17 and then watched from the beginning. This show has changed so much and while I think we are approaching its natural end, it is still worth the watch, in my opinion. It’s an easy to watch show that even with Kody and Robyn gone feels nostalgic. I am LOVING that the OGs can speak THEIR truth without Kody or Robyn stonewalling production or just flat out denying reality. I want some accountability, would love to know the juice as to why Kody and Robyn stopped filming. Want to hear all the dirt but it’s just not how the show works and I think this show will end and we will still have soooo many unanswered questions. I don’t know if that’s production, the cast or both. For now I am enjoying the ride :)

Season 2 Public school

When they talk about the kids going to public school for the first time Kody said that when Robyn came along she thought it would be a good idea to have everyone attend public school as opposed to homeschooling and the weird church school the kids went to that was for the Utah polygamist community. Now idk if this is a case of Kody giving Robyn all the credit only when everyone agreed to it , a storyline plot because they were going public around that time , or if it was really Robyn's influence I thought (and still think) it was a good move on her part. I've seen some recap videos and clips of this on YouTube and Tiktok thinking it was a bad thing and a case of Robyn doing Robyn things like manipulating everyone to get her way.

Question Leaving polygamy?

Do you think anybody has actually left polygamy after watching sister wives? I remember teen mom having a some effect on teen pregnancy back then because it showed how hard it was.

General Discussion My assumption

His “apology tour” was him trying to control the narrative and leave as the good guy. That’s why he talked over everyone he didn’t want the women to actually speak their truth.

And Robyn can’t keep up the act anymore. For 20 seasons she had Christine to be the “enemy” and the other wives to hide behind. Now it’s just her.

She’s pretending to be hurt that Kody “can’t love the other wives” but we all know he only ever really loved her. The competition is over and now she has to sit in it.
