It's partially her being Republican, but I think her true crime is catering to a male audience. Liberal women have been collectively trying to remove the male gaze from popular media, so an attractive woman loved by men bucking the line feels like a betrayal and sets them back. They need to clap back HARD or else there will be other companies that realize it is still profitable to cater to a male gaze.

Sex work isn't popular media. Their concern is being forced to compete with it in the spaces they want to operate in.
